It's safe to assume the MC's mother is the woman the Count was obsessed with, but she didn't love him and instead loved the Duke? How did the mother die? So many questions.

Hi! I'm just wondering if you have read chapter 30+ of the novel. I just read ch 31 (and need to wait for 1/2 day for the next one ㅠ.ㅠ), and it seems that someone kidnapped her. Is it?! Or I understood wrongly from the mtl?
Hmm actually I just choose randomly a chapter to read everyday in order to have a vague idea about the plot And seriously almost all the chapters I chose are Noah-Haylinn moments (not that I'm complaning ) so I'll not be a great help sorry Edit: oops I just remember that I read a review that might have some answer to your question (the same as emmyazzy’s), but It can be not 100% correct though Spoiler: Kidnapping? The review said that the Emperor manipulated our MC to believe that she was not the Duke daughter and sent her to the House of the Count who harassed her in the 1st timeline Back to the Count’s house, Hailynn tried to run away. There is also some mentions about the Count’s younger sister who was unstable after a few miscarriages. I think she’d be involved somehow Anyway, our MC managed to run away and met up with the Duke, who, for the first time recognized Haylinn as his daughter: « You’re my daughter now. You're my daughter even without blood. » What I found with the random MTLing: There is a kissing scene in chapters 153-154 And another one (with the proposal) in chapter 216 Poison attempts and investigation in chapters 160ish For the question about the 2nd cover: I'm pretty sure that the Black Hair dude is Noah ! Firstly because the Second cover was specially made for the Side Story which talks about Noah-Haylinn mariage it would be weird to have another guy than Noah in the cover Secondly, Noah had red eyes and if we follow the trope, red eyes are not commons in the novel worlds, well, except if you're the ML I don't really know how and when his hair became black though
