This is the Market! The place you buy items and stuff! You use DP (the game''s currency) to buy them!

Bear in mind however, that most of the equipment sold in the market is actually of pretty bad quality. It's better than nothing of course, but if you want good gear, you're gonna need to craft it~

The things you really want to get in the market are Dungeon Items... Which are, well, the things you put in your dungeons, like Monsters, Traps and what not. You can also buy a handful of Crafting Materials and some other miscellaneous stuff here, which are of course always helpful~

In addition to buying things from the shop though, you can also use the Market to trade items (either for other items or for DP) with other players. Please discuss the details of your deal in the Common Area however, just post the final deal here in the Market (while quoting your discussion with the other party please).

Ah, and whenever you buy an item or make a trade, please make sure to tag a staff member to confirm your purchase/trade in the database. Otherwise your purchase/trade won't really be valid! >.<

And lastly, you can also sell items in here. I wouldn't really recommend doing that as the amount of DP that you earn from selling an item is pitifully low, but you can do so if you have nothing better to do with them.

With all this out of the way, here are the detailed rulings for how things work in the shop (Don't worry, they're kinda short, definitely a lot smaller than the rulings in the Sign Up Thread!):

If you don't have any use for an item, you'd probably be better off trading them with someone else... But if you reaaaaaally have no use for it at all, you might consider selling it.

You can sell anything except Boss Essences. The value of an item is the following:
    • Crafted Items: 10 + 10 * ([Item Rank] + [Item Tier] + [Tier Of Its Enchantment]).
    • Monster Drops: 5 + 5 * [Rank Of The Monster That Dropped It].
    • Items Bought at the Shop: Half their buying price.
The Plank is worth nothing btw, sorry.
    • What are they: Core Upgrades are modifications to your Dungeon. Basically, the more upgrades you buy, the more freedom you have in making your dungeon.
    • Do I need to use all Core Upgrades I bought: No. You can use as many as you want though.
For example, if you bought the Core Upgrade that allows you to make a 40 room dungeon, you don't need to make it have 40 rooms... You can make it have any number from 1 to 40 rooms.
    • Are Core Upgrades Consumable: No, they're permanent. You bought an upgrade, you keep it forever.
    • What are the types of Core Upgrades: Currently, here are the Upgrades Available:
      • Dungeon Core: Not really an Upgrade. You just need to buy this to become a Dungeon Master (DM).
      • Party Upgrade: Allows more people to go into your dungeon at the same time.
      • Rank Upgrade: Allows you to put Monsters/Items of a Higher Rank in your Dungeon.
      • Room Upgrade: Allows you to make a dungeon with more Rooms.
      • Difficulty Upgrade (AKA Hard Mode): Allows you to add special modifiers to your Dungeon that makes it harder than normal.
You can add as many difficulty upgrades (though only one of each) to your dungeon as you want.
Why would you do that you ask? Because both you and the players get extra rewards if you increase the dungeon's difficulty. And this bonus gets bigger and bigger as you put more and more Difficulty Upgrades in your run!
... Or because your players happen to want a more challenging run, but who would want that...?:whistle::whistle:
The following happens for each upgrade in the run:
        • Players: Earn +10% drops at the end of the run.
        • DM: Earns +10% DP at the end of the run.
    • What are they: Basically everything that you buy to put in your dungeon counts as a dungeon item. Rather that's a monster, a chest, a trap or a hidden wall doesn't really matter.
    • How long do they last: All dungeon items are one-time use. If a player kills a monster, you need to buy it again.
If a player triggers a trap (regardless of them dodging the trap or not), you need to buy it again.
If a player breaks a fake wall, you need to buy it again.
If a player opens a chest, you need to buy it again.
And so on forth. Though of course, if no player found the item you put in the dungeon, then you don't need to buy it again.
    • Do I get DP from them: Basically all items except Core Upgrades, Bosses and Chests give you your DP back and some profit when the players break it. See "Exploring" and "Being a DM" in the Sign Up thread for details.
    • Improving Chests: If the DM feels like it, they can add items from their own storage to the Chests. This is essentially giving freebies to the players in a fun way.
You don't really gain anything from doing that, but if you wanna make your dungeon more appealing/rewarding to players, you can feel free to do so.
That said, you still need to buy the chests normally from the shop to do so, and they still give their normal drops in addition to the drops you put within the chest.

And now for the things you actually came here for! The Item List!

Bear in mind that this list isn't as detailed as it could be, as it would take waaaaay too much effort to make it as pretty as possible. Please consult the Equipment Spreadsheet linked on the top of this post to see everything properly detailed and in a much easier to browse manner.

Those are the items you want to buy if you want to be a Dungeon Master (DM) and host dungeons for other players!

Dungeon Core - 50 DP - Allows you to become a DM, giving you a Dungeon with 3 Rooms (+ Entrance) and that allows you to have up to 2 players (not counting the DM) inside it.

Party Core Upgrade (3) - 100 DP - Your Dungeon can now host one more player! (up to 3)
Party Core Upgrade (4) - 200 DP - Your Dungeon can now host one more player! (up to 4)

Rank Core Upgrade (X) - X*1000 DP - Allows you to put monsters/items of Rank X in your Dungeon (Rank 0 doesn't need that).

Room Core Upgrade (Y) - (Y-3)*100 DP - Increases the amount of rooms your dungeon can have by 1 (up to Y rooms). Caps at 50 rooms.

Difficulty Core Upgrades (Hard Mode) - 3000 DP each
    • Super - All monsters gain +5 to all stats (including HP/MP). All traps have their difficulty increased by 5.
    • Elemental Hell - All players become weak to all elements. This overrides all other elemental resistance modifiers.
    • Overwhelming Numbers - At the start of each battle, summon 5 monsters to it. If it's a boss fight, summon them according to the starting party members, in addition to that, the boss' reinforcements may exceed the monster cap of the room.
    • Immortal - All monsters become resistant to all elements. This overrides all other elemental resistance modifiers.
    • Unwipable - All player skills/items can't hit more than one target per turn.
    • Forgotten Knowledge - All player skills are treated as if they were 1 level lower (Level 0 skills remain unchanged).
    • Triple Madness - When you enter a Boss Room, summon the other 2 bosses of that Rank and their Starting Party Members to the room. At the end of each turn, summon the reinforcements of the two other bosses to the room as well. This core doesn't work with Super bosses. This core only improves the reward of the dungeon run if you clear a (non-super) boss room during it. Summoned Bosses give all their drops as if they weren't summons.

    • Rank 0 - 40 DP - 15 difficulty

For the exact stats of the Mimics, please see the Monsters Spreadsheet.
Also, remember that traps associated with chests always have their difficulty doubled. Since Mimics are always associated with Chests, their difficulty is always doubled.
And lastly, since the Mimic is a monster, you earn the appropriate DP from killing one.

*Between the alleyways near that shadowy dungeon, merchants of dubious report peddle their wares, eagerly eyeing the crowd for any who appear with interest. Shanty shacks for the exchange and storage of illicit goods lie atop every swindlers shop fronts and grifters hideaway. From the squalor, young with eyes for the insecure coin purse and drunk with more money than sense peer out of darkened corners. A full pack often attracts unwanted attention*

Action confirmed. ...I forgot how much Planks give though, so you'd have to wait a bit until Alice comes back.

Planks are worth nothing. It's there just to help mages in the tutorial, really~

And nah, I'm not very fond of missable secrets, the plank is not part of any recipe.

With the remaining 300G, Shiki bought1 Dungeon core and 12 dungeon floor extension, amounting to 170DP. She hoped that she'll get some measure of return for her investment.

Yes, but you need Room Core Upgrade (11) to purchase that first.

...I seem to have made a mistake in your Tutorial.
You should have 580 DP (i.e. 10 DP more than you thought). Do you wish to spend it to buy 1 more Rat?
    Also, 350 + 210 = 560, so you would've ended with 10 DP had you had 570 DP.
