Request Safari website translator

Guys, quick question: is the safari website translator working for you? Bc for some reason it stopped showing the translate button (on my iPhone) for me....I am talking about the translate option underthe reader mode in safari.
Everything worked fine the last few days and now suddenly it won’t show up anymore. I feel like it is due to my internet connection but maybe y’all have the same problem too?
It’s such a bother to read and find novels without this now urgh

unrelated but does the safari translator work well for mtling novels?

 

For me, it works better than Microsoft’s translator for chinese at least. I never compared it to Google translate tho. For Japanese, i find the website deepL translator works better than google translate too

 

Working fine for me, but whenever my connection is bad it takes time to show up or doesn't show up at all.

Safari does a pretty good job at translating Chinese, idk about other languages, but I speak both Chinese and English myself and found that Safari works extremely well. There are always some stuff it can't translate, mainly cultural references or slang that is often lost in translation, but nonetheless, it does a decent job. I say its about the same level as google translate for Chinese.
