She did. I forgot how, but she won against him in their final battle. They compromised that she will not interfere with any of the prince's affairs, and in exchange, he won't bother with her. Since things escalated to the point that the family will have to move to Gale, there was a little to no point of specifically fighting with him. The reason she fought with him the last time was because she held Elsa hostage. She won, and that was it
I can't seem to remember. It was not yet mentioned in the manga. And I forgot if it was mentioned in the novel
I see, thank you for answering~ I hope that they aren't like 10+ years apart or something like that, because that would make his 1st marriage proposal very creepy... In the manga is quite difficult to get an estimate of their ages, Sera looks older than she supposedly is. Going only by the art style I was guessing that she was like 10-12 and him 16 when they first met... but "a few years later" when she takes the exam for the Knights Academy she is mentioned to be 11 years old, which only allows me to guess that at the time of their meeting she was in between the ages of 6-8 : /
So the first prince just got away like that after making her as fugitive and murder his whole family?
My memory is vague regarding this bit. If I remember it right, yeah. He did get away with everything he did. Sera is pretty soft on him, as she sympathizes with him. They were both mob characters who were destined to die.
I feel like she went temporarily insane. He kills people, his family no less, and he walks free? how can you guarantee he won't go kill happy, you idiot.
Indeed. It was safe to say that he went insane. He didn't stop after securing the throne. He dared to kidnap Elsa for Sera's support. Which was very unneeded. That's why Giren became so pissed off that he threatened him if he dared to continue his stupidity. In my opinion, he went insane due to paranoia. In the novel, he was supposed to be killed by the his family to cement the 2nd prince's place. Similar to Sera who's afraid to die, he tried to recruit her, and killed his family to make sure no one would try to kill him.
That 10 years age gap. Well, I'm a fan of their ship all the way, There was this bit when Giren dreamt of his past life. Spoiler: What he dreamt It was his last meeting with Sera before she died. Sera was his trusted subordinate. He trusted her, and she trusted him. They were playing chess while they discussed their plans. Sera left for J'adore and was captured. When Giren heard of the news, he said that her death will be paid by their destruction, and it won't be long until they will be together. I seriously cried reading that bit
I read it up to ch 50 or something, the MC said he betrayed her. If so how? Is it a misunderstanding? What made her think this way? Why does she think he thinks of her as a tool in her last time? She said he was the one who saved her when everyone turned their back on her by the influence of the heroine, Is it a ML POV about why he did so? I feel like this story has a big plot hole Like about The lack of heroine presence The first prince unreasonable obsession with getting MC on his side even tho she is strong, was she that needed to succeed the throne? And lack of reason and answer to the character's action I feel like the plot is everywhere. So I'm hoping someone clarifies ~ Thank you P.S This is just my opinion, please do tell if I got something wrong
umm… MC thinks Ghilane only needed her as a tool in the previous life, which is why she thought he is once again after Lu in this life too. Not once has the MC said anything about Ghilane betraying her. She was a weapon for him from the start in the previous life, and she thought it is so this time too. There has only been pov of her older brother, grandmother, and that chapters where MC was unconscious and Lu and her father talked. I think the Heroine has such a lack of presence because MC avoided her so much? And the 1st Prince was obsessed with MC because he would be killed by the 2nd Prince if he isn't strong enough. He approached MC to get her to his side because they are fellow reincarnators, and that he hated the Heroine for having such an easy-going and carefree life while him and MC have to do everything they can just to live. It was never about getting the throne, he just wanna live his life since he never get to do that in his previous life. And also, 1st Prince is a crazy bastard.
Yeah. That's it. He's downright crazy. And Giren wasn't vocal with his affection with Sera in the past life. She was his trusted subordinate. Trusted, but subordinate nonetheless.
Ohhh that make more sense I was pretty she said he betrayed her, maybe I was wrong. Because like he hold his hand out to her then he turned his back to her so maybe that's where I misunderstood he betrayed her and thought she said that. I confused myself lol Thank you for clarifying, I appreciate it~~ I still wish there were more POV other than the main character But other than that I think I'm okay with everything~
Wait a minute... If the Goddess regretted her decision to give her blessing to the Heroine. Why didn’t she take it back? She could have given it to someone else right?
As much as I want to answer this question, it's been too long and the details have been lost on me. But if I remember correctly, there were circumstances that made her unable to do so, which I can no longer remember. Sorry.
