In one of the side stories, he starts to regret the way he had treated her just a little bit after she gave him back a present he gave her a long time ago. (I'm not sure - I was mtl'ing this) To regift a present already given means a flat out rejection. The MC didn't know and just gave it because it was convenient to give it to him. He then realizes that his presence in her mind is not zero but in the negatives. He then realizes just a little bit how kinda shitty he was. Very little though. Also, this incident happens sometime after MC wins a way to quietly break off their engagement and finds a cute M she slowly plans to marry? She(MC) later get into another political engagement with Folt her 2nd cousin who tries trolling her but ends up getting trolled instead. MC is making plans to get rid of that engagement as well.

Oh shit another trashy fiance with mild regrets as consequences... I hate him already. But i like the MC, tbh, the scene that she dragged that annoying cousin to feel depressed is satisfying indeed.
How is the heroine, is she evil, at least it seems that in this case, she would have actually been bullied rather than making up the idea that she was being targeted. She also does seem to have genuine friends, but was the villainess truly awful to others to justify her fiance and cousin not liking her at all.
The Hamefura spin-off has this too, kinda, the villainess was already bullying the heroine for a while until she got her old memories back, but she did it with a group of friends...though after she stops, only one of her friends still hangs out with her and also becomes a better person.
