First of all. I wanna thank all the generous ppl that shared spoilers with us! Really liked this story!!! But tbh, I feel really really sorry for Rezef. I wish he could have had some redemption. I’m not saying the stuff he did wasn’t wrong. But he could have lead such a different life in other circumstances. I’m glad at least he was just exiled. The real villain in this story is the Emperor for me..

 

I mean correct me if I’m wrong because I haven’t read all the spoilers as yet but at first didn’t Cayena try really hard to make Rezef change his ways but even after all her effort it was to no avail. Also I’m sure he made tons of peoples lives miserable everyday because of that personality of his so to have him come and have a “happy ending” would honestly seem kind of unrealistic for me and how would you say umm...leave less of an impact in a way I guess.
But yeah I agree the emperor was honestly the main antagonist for me as well.

i agree with you, His bad deeds is unforgivable and im not justify his wrong doings, but i still pity him because his childhood.. i think theres no child deserve treated like that

it said reason why emperor hates them because rezef isnt his son and cayena very look alike like his cheating wife. but since begining cayena already said that rezef her half-brother, not just brother. are we talk about the same empress or different empress?
if its different, so all of emperor wifes is cheating?

Empress + raphaelo's father = rezef

 

Appreciate everyone's spoilers and I'm happy Kayena finally got her peaceful life together with Raphael. I wish Rezef would find his own peaceful life with someone too. He ain't gonna be alone forever.

 

Well the emperor as well cheated the empress with another lady and has a child as well so he shouldn't play the victim card lol

 

I was under the impression Ethel was born after the Empress died, so there wasn’t physical cheating (let’s be honest they were probably emotionally not invested in each other so emotional "cheating" probably happened way before then for both parties). Ethel’s 13? Whereas Rezef and Kayena are like.... 20? So there’s an age gap and the emperor likely did not cheat on the empress in Ethel’s case.

of course, please do correct me if I’m wrong!

 

In the manhwa' scene the Emperor and his lover were so young so I totally forgot about the age difference,, you probably right,, i have no idea whereas the Empress was dead or not..I wonder if his lover has a husband or not?

 

OMG OMG OMG! I was NOT expecting that. (I expected a lot of the other spoilers - I didn't think Rezef would become Emperor because he isn't fit to rule and probably would become a tyrant, and I knew that they had to have introduced the Queen's 13 year old son for a reason.)

By the way, Cayena did NOT become Empress (I think it must have been a translation error?). In terms of their nobility and royalty titles, she became Princess Regent, meaning that she was still a Princess, but she ruled until the heir, Ethel, was of age. Ethel is really lucky he got such an amazing sister, because if he didn't, she could easily have had him killed or refused to hand the throne to him if she wanted the throne.)

 

Yeah, I think Ethel like Olivia because she resemble his sister. I believe if Cayena is not his sister, he must be love her (romantic way).

From what I understand, Cayena become the Emperor (*I'm not using Empress because her position is the leader of the Empire, not the Emperor's companion).
Ethel become Crown Prince, and Ether's mother become Princess.
Cayena doesn't want to become Emperor for a long time and think the Emperor position must be handed to Ethel, like in the previous life.
But she lead the Empire to the prosperous state and make it easier for Ethel when he become the Emperor later.
