Am I the only one who feels disconcerted about the fact that dinner knives looks dull af yet cut so smoothly? Am I? :notlikeblob:

Cut yourself with a table knife? Even being very clumsy it is very unlikely ~~

I didn't, it just felt weird that I was cutting a burger so smoothly with a dull looking knife... it looks so innocent like a butter knife

I know what you mean ... I don't know if the table knives change depending on the country? Table manners yes, but the knives ...? ~:hmm:

Don't tell me you eat even burgers with a knife and fork? :blobwoah:

Meanwhile, me who eats food with hand (and the occasional spoon or fork)... *feels like a barbarian*

I mean the food you cut itself is cuit soft. The burger meat would have tenderised after heating and all

For me, it depends. If there’s a bun, unless I hate the bun, I’ll eat it with my hands. If I’m making it at home or eating at a fancy restaurant, I’ll use a knife and fork.

The burger was big and I wasn't that hungry so I cut the burger into quarters then eat it by hand. Put the leftover in the fridge.

... Umm but I may or may not have eaten burger with a knife and fork before, dun judge me :blob_teary:

I'm the same as you. I didn't know that people ate burgers with a knife and fork...

Also, if they char broiled the burger, which I can’t stand, and I need to cut off the charred parts, obviously knife and fork.

But there are other tougher food items that are easily cut by a dinner knife, aren't there? :hmm:
Welcome to a whole new different world :blobshh:

It's already late at night and I'm too lazy to go down the ground floor so here, it looks similar anyway. It's not like they are special knives for dinner, that is simply what they are called in my house. They are used for meals and not for cooking.

That's not a knife. It's a dull metal stick. Buy yourself a proper knife please.

... that is a knife. If you're thinking about the big sharp ones those are kitchen knives. This one is used for steak and such :blobexpressionless:

Also, that's why I said they look so innocent yet they cut well for some reasons.

P.S. Don't insult my knife! :blobspearpeek:

I'm actually not sure, I'm simply trying to protect the dignity of my knife...
