I think Dr suess book was everything anyone talked about in the 90s when it came to children's books.

Cancel culture is absurd to me. If you don't like it don't read it why do you have to go and try to eliminate Tv, Books and other things just because you find it offensive.

THANK YOU. Exactly. If they didn't like it, why'd they have to go out of their way to ruin it for everyone else?

"I find strawberries offensive, and don't like them, so I'm pushing a ban on strawberries all over the world" how selfish even, too.

It's just modern day book burning. Nonetheless, a freaking children's book.

'The Wind in the Willows' by Kenneth Grahame is my all time favorite. Plus, Ronald Dahl's works are the summary of my childhood. ^^

I remember having a philosophy project where we have to make a write-up about the book "Hope for The Flowers" by Trina Paulus. It was an interesting read.

Three Billy Goats: Story about three Billy goats and the monster under the bridge who wants to eat them.
Rapunzel: The version in which the prince falls down the tower and blinds himself. I don't know why I liked it so much but I really liked it. Probably because of the illustrations.
The Zodiac Girls series: You don't know how many stores I scoured to get my hand on just one more book.
The Pied Piper: The children never return to their parents.
And more that I can't remember.
I realize it just now how morbid the story I read as a child were. Like, why are fairy tales so dark?

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
One of the seven stories of Grimm Brothers (Rapunzel, Cinderalla, Hansel and Gretel, The Golden Goose...yeah all their dark fairy tales)
    Pygmalion (not a children's book:hmm:

Does 1001 nights count? it was gifted to my mom when I was about 3-4 years old it was in Spanish. From what I know Spanish version is much rarer than English version specially since it was the 90s I have looked online and the book I have is nowhere to be found even by authors. I tried to google her first name, but the last name was faded out can't be made out since the book was already very old when it was gifted.

you mean One Thousand and One Nights? yes that counts I also grew up with that even tho it was a complicated book for a child. I’m sure the author of this book was Christian something but you can buy the book online if you just search the title that I wrote in bold text.
