I am quite curious about how people choose to eat a said course of meals. I know this is individual preferences, but colour me curious. Scenario 1: You are eating a meal with an entree, soup, main course and dessert served all at the same time. You are given all the appropriate utensils, so yes you do get a soup spoon. Will you always eat it in order? Scenario 2: You have just order a form of mixed carb-protein-fibre combo w/ drinks, like a maccas combo (but with salad). How will you eat it? A)Eat all the meat or delish stuff first, then finish the carbs and whatever else at the end. Drink at you own time own pace. B)Eat everything in proportion. Measure the duration of your meal by the remainder of your drink. C)Eat all the baddies first, leave all the good stuff to the end and watch all my friends stare at the last piece of meat on my plate. D) Any other option. For me, 1) No, I may even choose to finish the dessert first depending on the type of course meal if served at the same time. I am a heretic. 2) A. Hunger is the best spice, I prefer best first, worst last. If the drink is the best, then whelp.
Depends on what im eating. Chinese food i eat with chopsticks, steak and taders with silverware, and burgers and sandwiches with my hands. As for the course meal, shame on the waitress/waiter.... no tip for you Otoh that shake and salad sounds way to healthy for my lack of diet. --edit-- Need to read thi gs more thoroughly.... Usually alternate dishes every couple bites. Even try to finish everything about the same time.
1 I only eat main first because it's still warm and dessert, not enough space in my belly for soup and entree. 2 I don't eat leafs so no to salad. I use my humanly eight fingers to spatula food in my mouth. What species do you think I belong to?
Woah I didn't realize there is so much thinking that goes into eating. And wtf is a soup spoon? Hands all the way 1) If I'm alone I'll eat out of order. If I'm with others I'll follow what they are doing. 2) I eat the things I like first because I save my appetite for the yummy things. Leave the things I hate.
1. No, I'll try a bit of everything first and proceed to take a portion of each balancing the aftertaste in my mouth. 2. D. Same as above. Edit: I usually only have my drink at the beginning and end of the meal, unless I'm eating something really dry or spicy. Spoiler: I'm used to eating with chopsticks and spoon
I mean I always felt this way, but when I eat out with some female friends they always eat all the things they hate first. Leave all the meat at the end and say they are too full. I just smile while thinking, "So, why did you even order that in the first place?" The soup spoon situation is like either in a restaurant or buffet, there is usually a dedicated spoon for soup. Would you just stick the spoon of your main dish into the soup, or use the soup spoon?
I used to be one of those 'best for last' people but it's nicer to eat the tasty foods when I'm hungry and just deal with the boring foods later. See, I understand using multiple spoons for convenience, but I would not be able to identify a soup spoon for my life. I thought all spoons were just...spoons. Big spoons, little spoons, but not soup spoons. The more you know I guess
xD this is one of the reasons reincarnated villainess suffer: Spoiler: As long as you have a dishwasher or maids...
I do but when I don't use them, they look like normal fingers so I don't call them thumbs. From now on I will only drink from my water goblet even though I only have a normal glass.
1) probably not in order? I like to rotate my plate as I eat so I get a little bit of everything as I go. 2) D. 100%. also, spoons are superior and the only necessary utensil and you can’t change my mind. And I don’t mean those short sad looking spoons, I mean those nice, long-handled, stainless steel spoons that you have to weigh down with rice otherwise they’ll tip out of your bowl
