He's deflecting too much and not going in depth as to why he's so set on declaring individuals sus~

I had hoped people had some weird plays such as "I bet there is at least 1 mafia within the first 5 posters, since they are opportunistic," or "I have a grudge against this person, so I will vote them for now."

I know the basics, so I wouldn't consider myself a newbie. However, I don't see myself as a professional either.

I don't like using pure RNG, and I don't like D1NL either. If only a handful people start their D1 by using RNG to build up topics, then that's fine, but I don't want everyone to depend on only RNG.

I see D1NL as nothing but a waste of time. It is essentially no different than giving the mafia and the cookie monster a N0 to start with.

Imagine being the person who gets killed N1. What did they do? Nothing.
They voted No Lynch because nobody acted suspicious. They will never be remembered as "the person we played FM with," but instead as "the poor soul who died N1."
They did nothing D1, they won't like being killed N1 (unless they regretted joining this game due to having no time IRL), and it just drops the overall fun for everyone.

Okay, so mafia and cookie monster can kill someone at N1, but how does town benefit from D1NL? Go back to the first page, and read the OP. Which PRs does town have in this game? We have a cop, a vigilante, and friendly monster.

Cop gets a check. Vigilante kills either 2 towns or 1 non-town. Friendly monster may or may not save a kill.

No town PR benefit from D1NL. The worst that can happen to them is that they get accused by RNG or something, but they could just claim their role at EOD to be spared or counterclaimed.

This sounds reasonable but really scary at the same time. We can possibly lose 5 townies with 1 misplay on just D1 and N1....
Nothing really sus about this. So I'll probably be changing my vote if I find that there's someone else worth suspecting more.

 

I haven't read the people who voted me, so I can't say anything about them at all.

It's not that I am waiting for people to slip up exactly, but it's rather that I am waiting for someone to start a movement, which I can then evaluate to decide for myself whether I would join them or not.

Ah, my bad. Bandwagonning is when someone deliberately joins someone's wagon, and the one vote on Glass Shard by Boba could hardly be called a proper wagon.
