I watched the drama and that is where it ended, did she also betray him in the book? I enjoy schadenfreude but it is almost impossible to see the protagonists suffer in Chinese novels. It makes it so boring. Also, does the poison girl get a larger role in the book?
I don't know. I barely even remember that I read it. I vaguely remember it being very generic, but I may be confusing it with a different series.
I don't watch chinese drama nor I read their novel, sorry, I became a chinese hawk and sinophobic these days that I filter any form of entertainment related to them.
Hahaha, watch the Chinese drama, I couldnt stand the book Too many typos and Medusa was raped too it seems The drama eliminates all that, one benefit of Chinese censorship is removing rape from dramas adapted from novels lol
Wait didn’t he have like a snake baby or something I remember reading something with the mcs kid in it and she had a pet snake I think might have been the snake sister
Never read the novel past chapter 1. I was hoping I could continue the plot point of the drama in the novel seems unlikely Finally, a season 2 after 3 years but with a new cast https://inf.news/en/entertainment/ddcce8f409020e253b05147a4b840f8c.html
I know he becomes a big shot god person later on I used to read the authors other novels back in the day and from what I remember he was a big flame emperor of a territory his daughter might have become a harem member for another mc or friend I never finished the novel
I would say look up the wiki for it? I never watched the show and I never got passed the academy arc in the manga or novel... so I can't answer well..
Real Backstory of Medusa* actually a lot of fantasy stories have been influenced by it and I didn't know that medusa had such a tearjerking past. She just became a stereotypical villain. But she her only fault was being gorgeous and got involved in between the fight of "so called Gods" Medusa was a devoted priestess of Athena in the Temple of Athens. However she was very Beautiful with a perfect figure, but as a priestess she remained devoted, holy and virgin for her goddess Athena. One day after finding out that Athena was out, Poseidon came and R@ped!!! her in the temple and she couldn't do anything. Athena was angry when she came back and found her holy place defiled by such incident. And instead of fighting for her poor priestess, Athena and Poseidon both blamed Medusa for being so beautiful and "seducing" (LIKE WHAAATT!!!). So, Athena took her anger out on Medusa and put a curse on her, making the Snake Haired, horrifying-Ugly, Medusa she is. So the two gods settled their fight and exiled Medusa to a distant island. Later, then began the so called "Heroic Story of how a monster was killed and brought glory to the world" (That's one god damn glory alright. A victim was unjustly condemned, and then an executioner was sent and somehow the executoner became the "HERO")
