WILD RIDE TO BASTION GAME WILL START WHEN WE HAVE THE LAST PLAYER General Rules: 1. Be respectful. 2. Do not discuss the game outside the game thread. 3. The first 5 minutes after making a post it can be edited in case you make a spelling mistake or other form of mistake after that period it is not allowed. 4. Do not gamethrow (act against your win condition). This includes jesting (acting chaotic or suspicious on purpose) and all sorts of revenge actions. 5. Do not use any sort of code or encryption during the game. Signals are allowed (When I say "x" I mean "y happened") but any sort of hidden message that requires a cipher/rule to read, or otherwise hidden message is not allowed. 6. Do not quote, screenshot, or otherwise post any messages received from the game master or anything related to the game outside of the thread. 7. This is my hosting colour, it’ll make the VCs and other GM posts more noticeable. Do not use that colour unless you absolutely need to. 8. Pretending to break any rule will be treated as if you broke that rule. 9. BETS WILL ONLY BE SETUP BY THE GM. 10. Everyday you must make at least 10 posts that add to the game. 11. Most importantly, remember that this is just a game, so just try and have fun! 12. 48 hour days 24 hour night phase Spoiler: Setup - IMPORTANT PLEASE READ The roles are as they appear in the third post! The roles will very likely end up edited. There is one neutral There is two factions Imperials(Town) and Rebels(Mafia) This is is bastard. There will be no alignment changes mid-game. Killing a player will result in them being removed from the game their exact role will be revealed. Unless the Black Hat has been night killed A will system is implemented. If the Black Hat is lynched it will be turned off. Death is permanent. The only night kill is the mafia night kill They mafia will only be able to kill one person each night and will vote upon who to kill. They may choose not to kill anyone. The day phase will always last at least 24 hours After the first 24 hours if 2/3 or more of living players have voted to lynch the same person the day will end and the person will be lynched. How to lynch: There will be two more posts following this the third post will have the vote list. Next to the dash next to your name put the person whom you wish to lynch's name. What happens on a lynch: On a lynch a single life is removed from the player. If the person has multiple lives the person will remain alive and no information will be gained on how many lives they have remaining or otherwise. How to write a will: You may write the will at anytime throughout the game, you do this by typing. Will: [stuff that goes in the will]. I will copy the entire post of the will and then post it in game so only add things that you are sure belong in the will in there. An important part of the will is that you can leave your credits to other players. If you do not specify who you give it to it will be given to the Black Sun Ganger. The Unique mechanic: Every day you will be given a credit amount dependent upon your exact role. You will also start with a random credit amount between the numbers specified in the role. This amount can be used for two things exchanged for an item in the store or used for betting. The town as singular individuals will bet on who will be night killed every night. The mafia as singular individuals will bet on who will be lynched in the first 24 hours of the day phase. The neutral will be able to bet on both of these. YOU CANNOT BET ON YOURSELF! Credit rules: Credits can be freely traded around between the players during the day phase. During the night phase they can only be traded around within the respective night chats of each group. You may direct your money to any individual in your will. Even after wills are disabled this will continue but in private rather then open. If you do not direct it to any specific person the BSG (Black Sun Ganger) will receive it instead. Betting: Each bet you may abstain or put up an amount between 1 credit and all credits you currently have. The amount gained from a correct bet is twice what is put in. In addition all correct Imperial betters will receive 50% of the amount of those that lost the bet. Rounded up and split equally. All correct Rebel Betters will receive 66% of the amount of those that lost the bet. Rounded up and split equally. The BSG will receive 100% of the lost bets made by those other then himself. Shopping: You pay credits at any time to buy an item from the store. Bacta pack: Effect: Gives an additional life Costs: 75 credits. Timing: Immediately Hutts Bribed: Effect: Two lynches will occur in the day instead of one (Secondary lynch will be the second most voted for player for simplicity). Costs: 200 credits but multiple people may donate to it in a day. But only up to 4. Timing: Will occur in the next day phase after it is bought. Roles: Spoiler: Imperial soldier An ordinary citizen that has joined the imperial army after a recent attack by the Kaminoans clone army devastated the population and destroyed the power generators. You are protecting the secondary power generator that is holding the shields defending the city together. The battle against the Kaminoans continues across the planet but the more pressing matter is the traitors in your ranks they must be found and executed! They will gain a single credit every day. Start with between 13 and 17 credits Win with the Imperials. Spoiler: Bounty Hunter Hired by the Empire to discover the location of the rebels base you have ended up on Bastion an Imperial Stronghold because of rumours that a cabal of rebels is active in the sector perhaps the location of the base can be found if you interrogate these despicable traitors? Each night they can check someone's alignment. After checking two Rebels or Three Imperials they will no longer be able to role check people. There will only be one Bounty hunter in the game. Start with 9-12 credits Will gain 3 credits for every Rebel killed. Gains the Black Sun Gangers uncached credits on his death. Win with the Imperials Spoiler: Imperial Medic A well trained medic for the Imperial army you are there to make sure the Imperial soldiers can continue to fight the generator must be protected as the civilians must remain safe! However due to previous Imperial Medics hoarding important medical supplies the Imperial Medics operations are frequently checked up on. Each night they may protect 1 person this person will be immune to the mafia night kill. They cannot protect the same person 2 night phases in a row. There will only be one Imperial Medic in the game. Will gain 2 credits each night. Gains 2 credits if they correctly heal someone Starts with between 10 and 14 credits Win with the Imperials Spoiler: Undercover Stormtroopers You have been ordered to go undercover with a fellow stormtrooper to stop the rebels those cretins will be found. The stormtroopers have access to an alignment indicative night chat. There are only 2 stormtroopers. Whilst either of the 2 stormtroopers are alive the Black Hat Rebels power will not activate. However after both die and given the Black Hat is already dead it will activate as it would have. They start with between 13 and 17 credits. They will gain 1 credit for each stormtrooper alive at the start of the day. Win with the Imperials Spoiler: Rebel saboteur The shields must be reached this unspoiled gem of Imperial might must be brought down to send a message that nowhere and no one is safe from the attacks of the mighty and grand rebel alliance! There are 2 Rebel Saboteurs Gain 2 credit for each Imperial death Gain 2 credit each day phase Starts with a random number of credits between 13 and 17 Win with the Rebels Spoiler: Bothan Spy Bothan's are the primary spies of the rebellion equipped with the deadly disintegrator and the ability to gun invisible they are extraordinarily deadly. However Bothans are still respected members of Imperial society and not an uncommon sight on Bastion There is only 1 Bothan Spy The Bothan spy is a 1 shot day claim vig. They will supply one players role + name to the GM if they get said role correct they will remove them from the game regardless of lives. They can do this during any day phase but only once. Starts with a random number of credits between 13 and 17. Gains 3 Credits for every Imperial killed Win with the Rebels Spoiler: Black Hat Rebel A fairly crazy member of the Rebel alliance the Rebels do not like participating with him. His goal is more to cause terror and madness unlike the rest who are trying to remove from power the Emperor Sheev Palpatine. There is only 1 Black Hat in the game. If the Black Hat is lynched wills will be disabled. If the Black Hat is night killed Alignment + Roles will no longer be shown. MYLO/LYLO will still be announced If tied votes for who dies in night kill the side that the black hat is on will lose. Whilst the stormtroopers are alive the Black Hat's power will not activate. It will activate on their death. Starts with random number of credits between 13 and 17 Gains 1 credit each day Gains 1 credit for every eliminated Imperial. Lose 2 credit for every eliminated Rebel. Win with the rebels Spoiler: Black Sun Ganger There's always money to be made on war torn planets. Some people just need a little something extra that the military doesn't supply. So that's where you come in. Whether that something be extra weaponry, fake ids or precious, precious bacta. But what you are looking for is a nice amount for a retirement and maybe a spare power core. That'd be nice. There is only one Black Sung Ganger. They may not role claim as the Black Sun Ganger. The Black Sun Ganger has both cached and uncached credits. The uncached Credits can be used to buy items from the store. Cached credits are how the win condition is achieved. At 200 cached credits the Black Sun Ganger leaves the game and wins. May win with other factions. Credits may only be Cached at night. The BSG gains 1 Cached and and 1 Uncached credit every phase. Starts with random number between 15 and 20. For BSG (Neutral): You might want to set a limit of this per night. Maybe 40 credits per night. So from what I understand about these UnderCover Stormtroopers: They are Masons who will get 10 credits on D2, and then 2 credits for every day afterwards?
I don't want to put a cap on them as they only gain credits from failed bets. Bought items don't count as losses.

In hindsight, I was wrong. I would never let the Bounty Hunter (Cop) have potentially 2 extra lives on top of having the Alignment Cop ability. Everyone starts with 10~15 credits, and there are 15 players, so there are 100~225 credits. Every Soldier (VT) gain 1 every day; BH (Cop) gains 3 per dead Rebel (Mafia); Medic (Doc) gains 3 every night; Stormtroopers... already discussed; Rebels gain 1 every Imperial (Town) death. Uh... two questions: - Uncached credits are all "credits lost", but what exactly does this mean? The credits lost in a gamble, the credits lost after death, and/or the credits lost after buying extra lives? - When it says "gain 1 or 3 credits for every [dead enemy]", is that only once or in perpetuity?
