Spoilers please! I'm super curious about the ML and FL's relationship, and what led to the ending scene of the prologue. Just how bad was the ML to the FL that she'd rather die than end up with him again?
I'm like, 97% positive that the ML fell in love with 'that girl from the party' and is furious that he had to marry 'some lapdog's daughter' instead of his true love. Really going to hit him like a truck of bricks when he realizes the truth.
I have spoilers! They're a bit patchy and I don't know what happens between them but, here's bare bones: Spoiler: Chapter 30 Julia is at a church, where she talks with a couple of priests about finalizing plans to run away. Spoiler: Chapter 35 The cliff scene, from Julia's POV Spoiler: Chapter 40 Julia is picked up by one of the priests who helped her escape and is taken to a monastery, where they let her stay. She helps take care of orphans there. So, from this, we know she's ready to leave by chapter 30, and we won't have to go through 80 million chapters of misery to get there (just 20 something)
Thank God she survived, just saw the Duke's suffering because he lost his wife in. I hope he rolls more before he gets Julia again. Btw thanks
I hope there is no reincarnation/regression took place here, I'm sick of it, after all the suffering, she is reborn again, then she is changed so he changed too (I got it if she changed from 'Villain to Saint', but most of them just changed from 'Lovesick bird into I don't love you anymore' and everything is whitewashed as 'he is a different person') I want her to found somebody new, or just live as a single lady, but I'm not gonna delude myself here, from my experience reading tons of K-novel, she guaranteed would end up with her husband again. I know the husband isn't a trash, he is just a jerk, at least he didn't cheated, he didn't raped her, he simply just emotionally abused her (rolling my eyes). Man, our standard of gentlemen already fall to the rock bottom cause all those trashy ML with their boohoo mommy/daddy issues.
I think she just managed to escape. She jumped off the cliff because she had no other option if she didn't want to be with him anymore since he'd already caught her. When she meets up with the priest again, he asks her what she wants to do with her life from now on, which means that he recognizes her and that he knows she's still the woman trying to escape.
BRUH, he must have done something INCREDIBLY WRONG for her to choose dying from a cliff fall than be with him. She even chose to live in an orphanage than be surrounded by his riches. He even said sorry and pleaded to her to come to him. He done fucked up man. I don't think he has a chance anymore
She was ignored, from the synopsis it was said that ML was very cold to him, even he didn't want to see FL's face in the morning.
Well, all we know now is that FL leaves ML and we’re hoping for lots of suffering on ML’s side but if it’s a typical k-novel they end up together again… so if that’s the case — some sweet moments please
Weeeellll... in chapter 41 there's a 6 month timeskip. Spoiler: Chapter 41 FL is still at the monastery, and the ML is still desperately searching for her. Buuut... Spoiler: Chapter 45 ML finally has found the FL. She's at a festival in a nearby town with the orphans. ML is about to go to her, but he sees her happy and laughing with the children and realizes he has never seen her do that before when she was with him. He realizes she wouldn't be happy if he made her return, so he decides to call off the search and returns back to the duchy. But, because he still wants to be a part of her life somehow, he makes a huge anonymous donation to the monastery.
Well I’m glad he backed off unlike all those other selfish MLs who can’t stand the FLs not being with them so they insert themselves in her new life one way or another :/ Thx for the spoiler!
Probably a stupid reason like, "So she was the kid I helped before?" Or "So she was abused af by her family.." His behavior is inexcusable. She was forced into the marriage too. It's basic decency to at least talk things out and not blindly hate someone. He's just a whiny little bitch @ceirhi tagging you here yet again. Seems like the ML is a lost cause. He isn't as bad as 1st timeline Ruve but he is definitely an ass
Wow.. Reading only a few chapters, ML is a total jerk. Another korean novel that "ah I regret what I did" moment. Hopefully FL will move on and never come back. Let the ML eat his bitter regret.
WELL NOW. An ml that actually has working braincells? Wow. Glad he actually backed off. But alas, they'd probably still end up together because ml powah~! Unless a second ml gets in there and actually ends up with the FL.
