I think it's probably cause FYH has different ideals compared to the rest of the people, and XTM was somewhat influenced by FYH. The way they rule GuMo is different from how the rest of DaShun is ruled; it's probably closer to how modern countries are ruled. In the novel it was mentioned how FYH and XTM often walk amongst the people and interact with them like your mayor/ minister/ local governor, like how modern world leaders/ politicians should be doing. XTM is more like a president/ prime minister instead of an emperor who locks himself in his palace. DaShun is obviously not ready for this kind of change so... Initially when I read that the 6th prince took over the throne, I flipped. However, after thinking it through, ruling a smaller country (GuMo is not that big) while not being confined to the 4 walls/ courtyard is not that bad. @pur3f8thxd1
i am reading this one till when consort yun snuck out from the palace and hide inside her son carriage. forgot which chapter is that. thank you for the spoilers
Does anyone know what happens to the seventh prince? I am currently reading the manhwa and the novel. I just begun but the seventh prince seems to love the MC does this hold any truth?
someone wrote a summary that he goes into the last war instead pf the ml cause he knows there is danger n ends up in a coma n wakes up by the end of the story, the love life was not specified
What will happen to her mother? I only remember that she became someone hateful, she afraid of her daughter. But what happen in the end??
Heads up for anyone wanting to read this. The emperor is put is put under a Gu and cheats on ML's mom for months. Some people won't mind, but I personally hated it and it brought the story down a lot for me. Another thing that I disliked is that ML's cousin, the emperors niece, marry's a monarch from a neighboring country who already has three concubines that will remain. I'm not a fan of that and it upset me because I really wanted her character to have a good marriage. Also, it seems like the original FYH and Bu Cong did not live happily ever after either! Bu Cong ends up dying. Did none of the couples actually have a good ending or do I just need to actually finish this melodrama to see a happily ever after?!
I’m really sad that I read in the spoiler that 7th prince doesn’t end up with Xiao Rong ! I was really shipping them together. She died while trying to protect a fake daughter.
