Why was she staying with her aunt if the servants and her dad love her that much? And why was there no dad in the first tl? Spoilers pls

 

From what i read till now, is because where her father the duke is living is a war zone.

Any are fine but I do have some questions:

1. Any sweet moments with her brother some kind soul would like to share with us? Currently he seems more reliable than her dad
2. We know a little bit (very little) about her dad, what about her mom? Is she a squirrel shapeshifter too because her dad (and brother) are obviously lion shapeshifters

It takes them that long? Lol Poor Betty. She will have to wait a long time to get her revenge. The aunt, the aunt's family, and the second prince deserve retribution. I am excited to find out how it will all happen.

Do they find out her aunt tried to set her up on a fake engagement too? I am guessing that in the original timeline, the aunt made it seem like Betty was in love with the prince.

Camping! The Fluffs are great but I really like how they depict her mindset after being abused. Its an actual thing. Kids who go through abuse are confused by the anctions of others who are not abusive. It takes time and patience for them to learn that kindness is not odd but something they should have had. Its not just abusive situations either. Children who grow up to fast because of issues in the household such as illnesses or financial issues get confused when thrust into an environment where they don't have to act grown up.

So kudos to the writer for giving us the fluff, but also for not forgetting that this little "tail fluff" went through many many years of abuse and neglect. They are doing an amazing job keeping the feels balanced while not ignoring an important human aspect.

 

The only thing I don't like is how they constantly cut her off without listening to what she says because she's a child. I understand because she's young, but when reading it, you get frustrated when they constantly cut her off. Also, the fact they don't even address why she ran away. They just think she's in a rebellious phase but a rebellious phase does not make an 8-year-old run away from home and get on a carriage for a few weeks to come to the lion territory. A child that young would not have possibly gone that far just for a rebellion and rebellion for what?? Like they're all too focused on how cute she is - which she is - rather than finding out the truth. Also, I was so happy when she punched that prince in the face. The first time a fl hit someone from the get go. usually, they think about consequences but she just punched him out of anger and even made him lose a tooth. Can't wait for her revenge on that snake as well as her aunt.
