Yes, those super hero costumes that show the wear's muscle in detail is a thing. They are probably inspired by muscle cuirass. "In classical antiquity, the muscle cuirass (Latin: lorica musculata), anatomical cuirass, or heroic cuirass is a type of cuirass made to fit the wearer's torso and designed to mimic an idealized male human physique. It first appears in late Archaic Greece and became widespread throughout the 5th and 4th centuries BC. Originally made from hammered bronze plate, boiled leather also came to be used.[citation needed] It is commonly depicted in Greek and Roman art, where it is worn by generals, emperors, and deities during periods when soldiers used other types. In Roman sculpture, the muscle cuirass is often highly ornamented with mythological scenes. Archaeological finds of relatively unadorned cuirasses, as well as their depiction by artists in military scenes, indicate that simpler versions were worn in combat situations. The anatomy of muscle cuirasses intended for use might be either realistic or reduced to an abstract design; the fantastically illustrated cuirasses worn by gods and emperors in Roman statues usually incorporate realistic nipples and the navel within the scene depicted." -wikepida If you want to read about muscles in action, click here~

Fun fact- They use dead bodies to make a mould, by pouring in sulfur wax and then carefully using oil they'd cool it and take the impression out. Some say the nipples always stick around... Ofcourse it is bullshit.

lol reminds me of that batman movie where everyone was complaining about the nipples on their suits lololololol
To some degree, I agree, there are certain hero suits that might be like that, at least and especially, for certain super hero movies, to quote some examples: movies like "Batman returns" and later do give that impression, you know, that impression of the super hero wearing some kind of armor rather than a suit Spoiler: sample movies like those of superman and wonderwoman, and even flash, on the other hand don't give that impression, while, cartoons and animated series/movies don't give that impression at all XD
The spiderman and superman movies had their abs showing, I believe. The first spider man ftom the 2000s.
Spoiler: This? Spiderman suits are just realy tight, and the actors just work out for the role, same thing for superman except maybe a little for the first Henry Cavill suit XD Spoiler: I mean this one
