Yes please, and why they are maintaining their denial. She's shown some obvious signs of neglect and abuse... so why are they so reassured that they are refusing to see the signs?

 

I think it's due to the fact they are seeing her through a 'lion' eyes,i.e. since she's a squirrel they know she's considerably weaker than them. I think in their minds they think that oh since she's small and thin, its natural. And also because they're inexperienced in raising a child weaker than their usual offsprings. But I do wish that since he thinks she's cute just say it out loud,let her knowww arghhh

I might actually say when father and big bro found out about her life in the capital (c54) they'll talk about it until the misunderstanding is all clear and beatty clearly knows that her father (family) loves her from the second she was born (ch63) and she wishes to meet the aunt.. then at ch69 father and beatty go meeting aunt in the underground, and beatty punishes the aunt herself, and after that their family relationship became muchhhhhhhhhh better

 

Wait, that means we have to wait for 20 more chapters for them to figure it out? I protest! I want to know how they react and then I have to wait 10 more chapters for her to realize she's loved? I have to wait even longer for us to see the aunt get her comeuppance? What about the prince, the one she hit that had abused her in the previous TL? Please spoil more. Nope. turns out, he isn't a regressor. But he's beatty first friend.

Apparently, that ritter lied to beatty, saying that he's beatty's first friend. That's why in the first tl she thought that ritter was her only friend. but no. it's not him. it's the first prince (a.k.a the boy she met in the forest, a dragon shapeshifter)

Later on, she'll knew about it when the first prince lives in the duke's castle for a while. When a boy called her, 'Star', at first she thought it was ritter and called him a traitor and things, then said that 'i know now that ur a snake'. then the boy was confused and 'i'm not ritter, and I'm not a snake'. then there she knows that ritter lied to her.

 

When will the story about the royal family be revealed?
If the first prince is a dragon it sounds way cooler than a snake, so why is the king dotting on the prince more? Is it only because he loves the second queen?

And why is the king hating the Duke so much?

 

Spoiler: About Count Zealot Getting Caught (so far)

at ch83, the count was caught by beatty.

at that time, aunt was already far gone HAHAHAH and ritter came since aunt failed the mission she was gave by the 2nd queen (boohoo!)

count was meeting the first prince secretly, when at the same time, beatty was in her squirrel form wandering around (up on the tree). Then she heard their conversation, and thought that there're something weird going on (she spied on them while cursing ritter HAHAHA). and at the next chapter, she purposely interrupt the meeting her father was in, and started to corner the count with her own ways..

update: father knows about it on ch98. it was written that after beatty spied on the count and ritter's secret conversation, she immediately told dad. and dad trusts her words. so he said to her to wait a little, since he'll not just find out about that count but also until all the roots.

+ count was totally cornered/caught in front of the public on ch100. he was making a commotion in Beatty's Golden Acorn Merchant newly open store, but actually... he fell right into her trap hueheheheh

++ after the event/incident(?) in beatty's store, a twin came to beatty. turns out, the twin was the younger siblings of the daughter/chess horse which died after working and made the food supply warehouse on fire (refer to ch34). so the older sister told the twins if she doesnt come back home and had no news, go find the 'lion' who can win against the 'snake'. and seeing beatty and the count event in the store, they thought beatty was the 'lion' and told her the truth, idk they told beatty about their sister burned the warehouse down or not, since it wasn't mentioned but they told that there's a place (along with the exact location) which in there might have some evidence of the count's doings. then, beatty told father about it.

+++ beatty n father received the investigation result of the count on ch106, they know the truth now. then on ch107, the count was pressed down with the duke's great lion shapshifter strength but beatty said to father to not kill him. so he didnt. and beatty was the one who lists all the count's doing and made him completely cant make any more excuses. then the count was dragged to aslan's underground.

the effect of knowing there's a traitor/spy from the inside, carl want to attach another guard for beatty, the snowstorm squirrel magical beast he trained the snowstorm squirrel and said to his tail fur that it will be one of her future guard.. and that's when ather said that his 'trainee/student' was chewing on ather's hair but then carl replied proudly that its his teaching.


so i guess the count is already fully caught now, just will be waiting for his punishment.

then, the aunt told beatty to tell the duke about the truth(?) or about how she was living in the capital with her aunt (?) (i'm sorry, I'm not really sure, i kinda forgot about it) then beatty said that, why should I defend you?

and the aunt got dragged to the underground.

and after that, baby, father and big bro talk.

and when he first met father n big bro, after greeting, he'll ask permission to meet beatty. and blabber about 'u know about the incident that the princess of aslan slapping a royal family face? i don't mind it at all. so please don't be cold(?)'

and he was replied with a what the heck r u saying? look by carl and father (too I think) HAHAHAHAHHA since as we all know, father and carl was pleased by the thought beatty slapped ritter, and they were actually cold to him because they hate the thought that 'the second prince proposed to my baby/tail fur'

and, ritter met the count secretly.. and I'm sorry I haven't read furthermore :" (well I'm currently still reading it, so I might update later on)

(btw, still, I think it's more satisfying reading the whole thing together TT in my opinion, even though it sooooooooo slow, the story gets to our emotions well. And our baby is just bravo and soooooo cuteeeeeee)

hmm later when the story/flashback about how the first prince first met with beatty and became friends. it'll be told that the king was a snake, his mother was a dragon. but he was born as a dragon and got despised because of his 'dragon eyes' (If i'm not mistaken). and he got despised even more when ritter was born as a snake shapeshifter, that's why he was sent to the battlefield and outside the kingdom since he was young. and one night, when he was flying up in the night sky in his dragon form, there was beatty, praying all alone in the night.

she first called him, "Star" since she thought/heard?/believed that the star was a God and could grant wishes. so she was praying every night (her pray makes me teary TT) but then, she learned that he wasn't a star, and that's how they became friends.

and I'm sorry I kinda skim the part about why the king hates the duke so much, so I don't exactly really remember about it

Hmm, first of all, on one side, they already know each other and are already friends from the very start, as Beatty, a girl who lives in the capital with her aunt, and dragon boy, an unknown boy whom she met at night, flying in his dragon form. And then, after talking a bit, they became friends and started to call each other nicknames.

p.s. the first prince's real name is Ather.

now, on the other side.

from the very first day when Ather came to the Duke's Castle, Beatty recognize him as the boy she met in the mountain range forest. Then, after hearing her father and brother calling the boy 'Ather, the First Prince', she then knew his real identity. And, she didn't dislike it, since she know that the first prince could be one of her way to get revenge on ritter.

After knowing each other as the Princess of Aslan and the First Prince, when she was walking, she was called Star. Hearing that nickname, she thought it was Ritter, who apparently lied to her, saying that he's that boy, the first friend of her. She yelled you traitor, I know that ur a snake, and things. Meanwhile, the boy was confused since he is not Ritter, and he is not a snake. And the boy cleared up the misunderstanding, making Beatty learn that Ritter lied to her about him being her first friend. (the boy is Ather, but with a different appearance with when he was being the first prince, so Beatty doesn't know that she's friends with the first prince)

Beatty thought that Atel came with the First Prince as his servant. then Atel said they could only meet at night (since at daytime he's being the first prince), in the meantime beatty thought because the first prince's servant must be busy in the daytime. (and yes, they sometimes met each other in the night and talk things)

Then, in the daytime, the First Prince is superrrrr nice to Beatty. He helped her in many ways, and ask a few time to be called 'Older Brother' by her. Welp, as u might guess, Carl will never let that happen HAHAHAHAH

After the event they know the truth, even though Father and Carl dislike the thought of a man other than them being near Beatty, they couldn't do anything since Ather was the one who sent the investigation result documents (about beatty's life in the capital). Beatty once called him older brother in return of helping her reveal the truth of her life in the capital. But, yeah, carl pulled out his sword... again (for idk it was mentioned few times huehehehe, jealous n overprotective big bro carl). As a result, the first prince wants to be called by his name, but nah, too fast, so back to normal title.

And, the next that I remember is Ather helping Beatty to practice speaking informally, since she talks formally to everyone (the effect of capital abuse). and there was a time where Ather had to return/go out from the Duke's Castle, and there came Ritter. But then, he suddenly appear again, asking permission from Father and Carl for asking Beatty to go out with him to the festival as his partner.

Ofc, he wasn't allowed at first, getting an auto firm no response. But in the end, beatty went to the festival as Ather's partner... obviously not only the two of them there's Carl along, shooing Ather away from Beatty, with his 'two steps away' rule.

anw from what read, i guess Beatty is comfortable with both Atel n Ather and that goes the same with the First Prince towards Beatty.

after tuberosum, the next 'project' beatty worked on was 'macrame' (around ch40s-53, I forgot the exact chapter), and around ch 80s-90s (I forgot the exact chapter too, sorry TT) there was something called 'Fairy Stone'. then on ch96-98 she'll gather some people who helped her and make a merchant of her own(?) with the name 'Golden Acorn Merchant'... at first someone wants to name it 'Beatty Merchant' hueheheheh but in the end, it's golden acorn. and for the investor.. of course it's father who invested the most. he really said : take my storage(?) keys. go there, take and use the gold coins as much as u wish.

So in ch 121, father asked beatty to choose the place where they would go for the winter and told her about her sickness again. then on ch122, the constellation appeared, so beatty asked about her sickness, what kind of sickness was it and how to heal it. But then, the constellation told her that it is not a sickness, but it's 'hibernation'. so..... yeah...

Spoiler: About Squirrel Shapeshifter's Power

ch122. the constellation told beatty that a squirrel shapeshifter's power is 'Store/Save'. so if another shapeshifter puts its power to her, she could save the power and use it. and it applies to any shapeshifter, which means she could use any kind of shapeshifter's power as long as she had received it first. and she could do it even just by being around anyone who is using their powers.

 

Now I want to know how her family reacts to what her Illness is, lol.

Actually after knowing that it's hibernation, it's more like, Beatty trying to persuade her family by everyday saving their powers to her with kisses and hugs... and... everyday father n carl fought because of that... then after practicing using her 'lion' power she ask father again whether she could just stay in the north for winter. Father was still quite worried, so in the end they climbed the mountain range and stayed their for a week to see whether beatty is really fine in the winter weather or not. and turns out, she totally fine! then they went back to the castle and beatty got permission to stay in the north for winter.

Yesh! np^^ emm sorry but so far from what I read, i think there was no explanation for ur questions...(?) (mother was mentioned too little TT and i kinda skim the explanations, so there is a possibility i might missed it or there was just no explanation of it at all)

Spoiler: The 'Future' after Beatty's Death in the First Timeline

so in ch127 the constellation brought beatty to some kind of illusion. there what she saw was... the end of the world.. the world was completely destroyed.and the constellation said to beatty that it was the future after she died (the reason why the constellation brought beatty back/return /turned back time) and that she was the only one who can save the world from getting destroyed. and its just by her existence. she just needs to live, dont die. beatty had wondered, does it make any sense that a world can be destroy just because a person's death? but yeah, we all know its possible and the one who destroyed the world was describe with 'familiar golden eyes that shines from inside the dark clouds'. so, it's not the lion family. but it's the dragon. (in the future the constellation showed beatty, ather was alive and seems like he had gone crazy)

the reason i put the title of the spoiler like that is because beatty is the no 1 top priority for dad, carl and even ather!

there were few scenes that shows even when father was in the middle of a metting, when a subordinate reported that beatty was waiting for him,he immediately just ended the meeting. and there are a few more for dad.. and for carl.. emm i think you already know. meanwhile for ather (ch128) there was a scene where beatty wants to ask ather to eat together, but he seems busy so she was about to go without asking. then suddenly ather called her, and said 'no, the busy matters were all finished'. but that's impossible. it's just because that she's muuuuuchhhh more important n the top priority than such things (to all of them).
