I get what you mean by the racist undertones because the features deemed as 'ugly' are ones that a lot PoC share, but imo the manhwa is just showcasing asian beauty standards (fair skin, slim and delicate physique, long flowing hair etc.) and commenting about how lookism is bad. The MC from this timeline is the same as the one from the first one. Her attitude, skills and personality are the same but because her looks are different everyone treats her differently. If anything this feels like commentary about how shallow everyone is and certainly this shallowness is not shown in a positive light. In fact the main villain (CP) is the one who is the most horrible about her previous looks.
