Personally I only thing I can cook good or at least good enough to consider edible is eggs, my sisters on the hand can cook lots of things and I guess it makes sense since they being doing it since they were like 10.

I'm good at making spicy dishes. The more spicy it is, the more delicious the dishes become!

^Above words may just be my delusion since I love to eat spicy food.

I like spicy food too, but I can’t handle it if it’s too spicy. I enjoy salty and sour things more. I can’t things if they are too sweet though.

Omelete, fried, scramble & poach eggs. Fried or roasted chicken, chicken soup, chicken curry, beef or mutton curry, bistik and steak medium rare and well done ~ I can't eat rare. Mushroom and vegrtable soup, stock and broth, you just throw bunch of vegies in the pot to make quick stew. Plenty of foods so long I can follow the recipes. I'm just home cook.

Cooking in kitchen home is nice and one my hobbies but cooking for customers on vendor or restaurant is different animal, inside the kitchen is hot and some people want the dish quickly served.

I can cook a lot of dishes (omelete, dumplings, fried rice, egg curry and more) but I can't make drinks. I tried to make tea once and served it to my relative... it turned out to be spicy!:blobwoah:
Also while making food sometimes I still have to ask my mum how much salt or spice to use:notlikeblob: But other than that i'm good, people really like what I make.:blobsmilehappyeyes:

Why are you not tasting it before serving?
I cook a lot of dishes but I don't have a specialty. I want to learn baking but no oven yet.

Hehehe. I could cook various things. But I really won't say I'm great at any of them. Even with ramen and pancit canton, I'm picky with chewiness and random things I add.

Instant cup noodles. Everyone says I have steady hands and I can pour the hot water into the cup without spilling a drop.

for me its banana fritter and fried rice that easier to make...

When i was a kid, a neighbour invited me for a lunch (i remember clearly the dish is banana heart veggies) it was my first time eating it and its soo delicious.

days later, the 8 year old me is going to the back yard and cutting the banana heart to replicate the dishes.

guess what happen when you are cooking unfamiliar ingredient and don't know how to prepare them.

it was soo bitter when i tasted it, also my dad caught me doing the cooking and want a bite. because its taste so bad, i dont want him to know and forbid him try it

(years later i discover you need to boils them first)
