I joined 2017 for the reading list. Became active in the forum around 2018. I'm still here coz for some reasons, I really like this place and folks here even though it's been a bit quiet lately. Nowadays, I'm just lurking.

What's your NUF story?

 

To be honest with you I don't even remember how I created this account. At first I was extremely quiet, yk, just lurking, then I found out about the I'm Looking For... section, started frequently asking for recommendations (hence the title) andddd I just started becoming active recently..For a reason I don't remember as well.

 

I joined during the beginning of the pandemic so it's been 2 years (wow I m shocked lol) I m not tht active here ngl I lurk or ask for help with tls but the community is rlly comfy and I made many good friends from this forum. I joined because I just got rlly invested in Asian novels lol

 

I don't use the reading list much...
I joined when I was a wee baby

 

sometimes I ask for recommendations, but rarely actually get to read them... sorry diligent people who recommend things.

I was a very heavy reader of western novels before getting here but then asian novels became the chill ones to read.

I remember there are people like you. Some depend on bookmarks. Some have a gazillion of tabs open.

 

Yea lol my tbr just consists of angst and I do hve one thing I m proud of I do actually read recs right now I m currently obsessed Manhua or manwha

I just joined two weeks ago and I joined because…I didn’t know what I was doing and I didn’t recognize anything except for the Log In button. If it weren’t for the random people on my profile I wouldn’t even know half of the things that exist here, like the bank and the forums itself, exist.

I had a pretty warm welcome except for the fact that a certain someone tried to abduct me and shave my fur off the first time we met

I found my list most of them r cn novels and r historical because angsty historical novels r much more painful the setting everything

I have 60 tabs on my current phone and a few hundred bookmarks
I would use the reading list but I have stories from when I read isekai and it's a hassle to clear

To be honest idk it just kinda happened

 

If i remember correctly at that time i just migrated from ahoupdate or something and then i took quite a long time to join the forum

 

even your chrome gave up on you and just laughs in agony sheesh..
