    these are 2 of best tv series i have watched
    i don't want to specify a genre or a theme but could anyone recommemd anything that is good and has a similar vibe?

    kinda old and a bit YA/goodie but "Angel", maybe. If I'm picking up on the vibe you like, which is unfortunately rare.

    Sons of Anarchy.

    and finally, but not as much, Vikings(the recent one).

    I too love those two shows. Wish I could be more help.

    Supernatural
    -Barring the last season whose plot has been utter garbage.
    Dexter
    -Barring the last two seasons (same reason as above)
    Grimm
    -Your monsters deserve to look like monsters and not glorified boy toys! Also premise of show is neat and a breath of fresh air (and lots of fighting!)
    Angel
    -Going old school (and who hasn't watched Buffy the Vampire yet?)
    Gotham
    -Best superhero show to date. (Bonus Dark and Gritty with a great cast) I would avoid the classic adolescent Bruce Wayne cry of pain after the death of his parents scene in ep.1 though. Dude portraying him sounded like a banshee.

    Grimm is my favorite in this kind of genre, my only complaint is how a certain character has a plot armor bigger than some xianxia mcs that i know...

    Supernatural peaked at season 5, it went downhill from then on.

    I haven't watched lucifer yet (planning to)

    But despite only having 1 season Constantine might give you similar vibes

    You can't see me right now but I'm currently rolling my eyes.

    The MC gets nerfed constantly, it's why I stopped watching. Even my mum who has no concept of "nerf" or "op" pointed out how annoying it was all his previous abilities and strengths randomly didn't matter and he'd get thrashed in certain fights.

    I humbly disagree for me it was the end of season 8. We got to see Purgatory again and Dean being a once again a total bad ass (best action in the series to date). It was unfortunate that they didn't tie the season plot with "Mother" - "Eve" she was defeated to anticlimactically and deserves more show time. Overall it would have been a great way to finish the series.

    Instead they've given us lots of fan service and a crappy plot device named Amara. Does anyone even care about this linear character? I sure don't. Disappointed that the show producers keep on trying to throw in sub par big bads to attempt to keep the show from keeling over.

    Haven't seen Lucifer yet but doesn't have supernatural elements? So Sherlock (despite being great) wouldn't give out a similar vibe right? Or does it?

    Same reason I stopped. As much as I love plot armors, at one point it crossed the bridge between entertaining and run straight into annoying.
    My God, you haven't watch it? It doesn't have the same vibe but it's a must watch. Go. Go.

    kindred: the embraced - best vampire show in my opinion. hard to find but worth it. sadly the lead actor died.
