  I like both, definitely.
  
  There's this... unique feeling or impact when a story can make you cry so hard and feel all those emotions. Like wow, a compilation of words did that.

  You're not liking the tragedy itself, you like the sadness that results from the tragedy. I don't like tragedy because i feel bad for the characters.

  Yes, that too. But it still depends on whether the tragedy in a story is relevant to the plot or not cause there are stories where they just make the MCs suffer without proper explanation why and refuse to give satisfying conclusions in the end. This type of stories is really annoying.
