what do you mean levit? don't they target different audiences? mainstream news targets adults, education is supposed to mold kids to fit into society while hopefully teaching them tools to be able to navigate their own way socially and monetarily?

...history shoudn't be only about years, they should teach a bit of morals, a bit of historical situations, a bit about politics and so on. Kids are exposed, nowdays, to many things and it's hard to say that history still keeps its place as a way to educate someone regarding...

yea, most countries probably manage to declaw history to a point where there's little good done by teaching it to start with. Then again, at least I got somewhat intrigued by a few good teachers and that got me to do plenty of independent research later on.
