Hi! Having read your post about hard magic, i hope that you've read some of those books. I just replied to the post. I am also searching for good magic systems, hopefully hard magic, any good advice? Thanks! A fellow reader.
I know there are others out there, but the ones on Royalroad were just easier to check. I've found that Japanese novels tend to go for either a western element approach to magic systems, onmyouji stuff, or a game system approach. Chinese tend to go for eastern elements and Daos and bloodlines, and I haven't really read much Korean or other Asian novels.
Some other novels I've read are: Arifureta Mushoku Tensei I haven't actually read Sanderson's hard magic books, so I'm not sure how these would compare to his example of hard magic, sooooo......
