To answer your last post: you can. On your reading list, click "List Settings" and checkmark "Enable Manual Reading List." That will allow you to write in the chapter you're on, which is useful when you're binge-reading chapters but stopping before the end. If you haven't enabled it, you can go to the novel's main page and check the box for the last chapter you'd read.
That's the thing, the "Enable Manual Reading List" resets the whole list to start at 0. Which isn't ideal when you have some novels you caught up with and other novels at different places. Thanks for the for telling me the 2nd part though, didn't know that.
Welcome. If you want, you can make more reading lists. Keep your regular reading list as it is, make the new one a manual one, and move a novel you binge-read to the manual one, noting the chapter you're on. Those which you keep up-to-date with stay in the regular one, and are separated from those which you don't want to read immediately and would prefer to read in chunks.
