I do not have all of NUF's history. But at the very least, I have some of the history of NUF Matchmaking.

NUF Matchmaking was started by @iampsyx on August 10, 2016. See here.

Then in Feb 3, 2017, it returned once again, with iampsyx as the main host. For April Fools of that year, Tony makes NUFdating.com, a dating site for nuffians.

In 2018, the torch gets passed on.

On March 21, 2018 in General Chat, a person moonlighting as @Sun God posted a thread titled "Looking for a marriage partner." Sun God is seeking a marriage partner through NUF. He humbly brags that he is "not so rich but barely enough to be a billionaire" and seems to be stuck in a contract marriage. The thread has the community in cahoots and spins off parody threads, including one by @DanDG and another by @juniorjawz

With all the marriage and dating threads running amok, @Hotato decides to revitalize NUF's Matchmaking service on March 23, 2018.

From that point on, it has been run in 2019, 2020, and 2021 at various times of the year.

The staff makeup does tend to reflect who was relatively "popular" on the site around the time of the event.

If anyone ever wants to host a matchmaking event or help run an event as staff, they are always welcome to PM this account. This account has extended PM conversation permissions.
