We've finally got an average of 5 Celsius outside for the next week and yet it might snow on Friday. Damned Canadian weather.

Fascinating little fact of the day: Trees can actually learn from errors and adapt, in a similar but much slower fashion to animals.

Another fascinating fact: Plants are very vicious. Many grow around other plants to strengthen themselves and kill competitors, in a somewhat similar fashion to some predatory animals.

Yeah, I've had to deal with the notorious Beech trees that like to suppress any other tree that's a different species around them. Ardent buggers.

Haha, that's a new one. The reason I wrote it like that is because my German roots come from Eastern Prussia (Ostpreussen) and the rest of my family is from Russia. So I'm a PRussian.

Just another guy wishing for a calm life where he can relax, read books, go out hiking, and listen to beautiful music.

    Signature

When tempted with greed, remember the words of Herald Vanyel...
    Lord Nedron:
'Let be; I'll give you silver, and I shall give you gold,
And I shall give you jewels fair that sparkle bright and bold,
And I shall give you pearls, all the treasures of the sea,
If you will step aside here, leaving these poor fools to me.'
    Harald Vanyel:
'What need have I of silver with sweet Yfandes here?
And all the gold I cherish is sunlight bright and clear.
The only jewel I treasure's a bright and shining star,
And I protect all helpless not just those of Valdemar.'
    Lord Nedron:
'Now I shall give you beauty, women slaves and men,
And I shall give you power you'll never see again,
And I shall give you mansions and I shall give you land,
If you will turn aside this day, aside and hold your hand.'
    Herald Vanyel:
'Now beauty held in bondage is beauty that is lost.
And land and mansions blood-bought come too high at the cost.
The power I have already-all power is a jade-
So turn you back, Lord Nedran if of me you are afraid!'

Song of Clumsiness: Plays a tune that slowly devolves into a mess of wrong notes and bad rhythm, makes every enemy within hearing distance clumsy (i.e. they try to get something out of their bag, they drop it. Or they try to raise a shield and stand against an attack but they stumble backwards)

Caernon is 5'5'' and definitely on the thin side. He has long, bushy leafy green hair that falls to his lower back. Short stag antlers grow from both sides of his temple. His youthful face is adorned by two emerald eyes. His most striking feature however, are his two legs. Although the upper part is fully human and normal, the lower part of his legs are that of a satyr, furry and hooved.

Caernon is wearing a black, gold-trimmed cloth longshirt and half-trousers which only go down to his knees. His fur half-skirt is tied around his waist with a leather belt, and a small pouch hangs off of it.

Caernon is standing in front of the Adventurer's Guild, a group walks by behind him, staring at him the whole time.

"I swear it's like no one in this city has seen a fae before... oh well, nothing can be done about it. Last time when I tries to poke their eyes out in the inn I got in trouble."

Caernon begins walking towards the entrance to the guild while thinking about how he should make his entrance.

"The innkeep said this would be the best place to earn some coin and he said it would be fun so I guess I should make a bit of an entrance, after all, I'm blessed to always impress."

He kicks the front door with his hooves and jumps through the opening.

    "Hello people of the land,
I am Caernon the one-man band!
I may be handsome, but please don't be a gaper,
For I came here with a magical filled out paper.
So check it out, don't pout
    and give me a shout,
when a job needs someone stout!"

He finishes his little sing-song introduction and proceeds to hop around the room greeting random adventurers and staring at the decorations while waiting for the receptionist to finish reading his 'magical' filled out paper.

    Name: Seregon Morna
    Race: Wood Elf
    Sex: Male
    Age: 24
    Position: Member
    Rank: E
    Equipment:
Garránmaor: A Livingwood staff, crudely fashioned by basic plant manipulation. If one looks closely, they could see a thin line of script running up the staff, "An it harm none, do what ye will."
Black ivory steel dagger: This simple-looking dagger bears no inscription or name. Although its blade seems fairly standard, the odd black ivory used for the hilt radiates with an unknown force.
Razorleaf Sickle: A short sickle crudely fashioned by basic plant manipulation out of Livingwood for handle, and Razorleaf for the blade. Flexible, yet just as sharp as any blade.
The Brown Robe of Many Pockets: Created by an amateur tailor, this simple brown robe seems to have no intricate design save the odd, intertwining branches stitched onto every seam and the many pockets spread around the front and lower back of the robe. The hood on the back is currently filled to the brim with various berries.
Brown Leather Bracelet: A simple leather bracelet made to look like a braid going around the wrist, it has a small circle attached to the bottom of it to allow one to hook something onto it.
Morna Clan Heirloom: A strange necklace that looks like a piece of Fluorite bound with a steel braid around the top. At a glance, it seems like nothing more than a simple piece of jewelry but an inquisitive eye can see its true usage.

    Inventory:
Various Seeds: Who knows how many and which kind they are? Some are small and round, others large and pointy, others still are glowing and flat. Only a well-versed botanist can recognize what each individual seed is.
Chalk & Charcoal: Because sometimes you just don't have a quill on hand.
Guide to Civilized & Urban Society by Barclay Wimblemeer: A brief (if one can call 200 pages brief) handbook on how to navigate and live inside a city. Evidently written by someone with a fine taste for wine, and a distaste for 'commoners'.
Leather Bound Book: This untitled leather bound book is a journal filled with various ritual practices and drawings of ritual circles for later use.
Foodstuffs: Dried fish, Solberry and Lunafruit, and other various pickings from the forest litter the inside of the traveler's pack.
Admission Letter: An admission letter to the Magic Association.
Coin Pouch: A couch filled with various coins... all of them appear to be from different currencies.
Waterskin: A tightly sealed leather waterskin.

    Spell Type: Summoning/Misc. Type (Passive)
Spell Description: The Druid's personal Grove within their soulrealm, it grows alongside them and can be used to store almost anything with the nature affinity, or be brought out into the world around them. Although it is no bigger than one step across at first, who knows how large it can grow with diligent practice in an Elf's nigh-immortal lifetime?

    Backstory:
Seregon was always a polite child when he was growing up. Not particularly nice, not particularly mean, but never the less polite to all those around him. He studied diligently and followed the ways of the Morna family -- that of a Warlock. Although he never liked the profession or the basis of his family's power, he knew it was his duty as a Morna to study the art. However, Fortune doesn't smile upon the unwilling and Seregon could never go past the initial level of the Warlock Arts. Born in the Schattenlicht Theocracy, it would be disgraceful for one of the heirs of an esteemed Darkness-based Family to not be able to follow in his ancestors' footsteps. Thus, one day Seregon simply left.
He turned to wandering through the nations and became fascinated by nature. Beautiful waterfalls, vast plains and towering forests; petite moonflowers and gigantic pines that seemed as if they could scratch the very heavens; the beautiful birdsongs at dawn and the chorus of wolf cries in the night. Seregon felt like he arrived--no--returned home. This is where he was meant to be, and he began living on the edges of the Kingdom of Belgard near the Lzarier Mountain Range. At first it was a hard and tiring process, learning how to make a suitable shelter from scratch, stitching together clothes out of animal hide and plant fibres, foraging and hunting for his every meal. These are things that he never thought he would do himself -- after all, he was originally born into a noble household... and yet now they became part of his everyday life. He felt grateful for the chance to do this, and he felt ever more grateful to nature which provided him with all of it, including the very opportunity, so he began to treat nature as its own, living being. He would say his thanks for every kill, every plant he gathered, he would meditate and try to attune himself to nature so that they could grow closer together, and eventually he began seeing visions.
Visions of beings he didn't know existed, of rituals, of songs, of gods, and of what he became. He was a Druid, what he interpreted as someone who is one with nature, it was the happiest day of his life. He continued to grow as a Druid, and slowly he received visions of things he could recognize, small villages nearby that were struggling with their harvest, people who were dying of diseases and animals who were being hunted down relentlessly. So he did what he thought was best, he came to the village and claimed he was a Nature Magician (so as to not have to explain what he actually was) to the village Chief and said he would bless their fields with good harvests. The villagers were overjoyed, later that year their fields yielded the largest harvest yet. Seregon also made various medicines for the sick, he taught them what plants and areas were safe in the woods, and what should be avoided. The small village of An Dúcharaidh became one of the first to be reunited with its roots in nature.
As his name was spread further by word of mouth, the Magic Association grew interested in this forest-hermit who cast odd magic and worshiped unknown gods thus they invited him to be a guest member of the Association. Seeing that it could prove interesting, Seregon decided to accept.

    Appearance:
Seregon is tall for a Wood Elf, towering over others at 6'5 he has a somewhat slim but firm build due to his years of living by himself in the woods. He has medium-length black hair that is braided on one side and falls straight on the other down to his shoulders. His eyes, which were originally amber in colour have shifted to a bright green as he was attuned closer to nature.

He always wears a long, hooded brown robe with many pockets spread all over it, a braided leather bracelet around his left arm, open leather sandals, and a gemstone necklace that has a light glow.

Personality: Although typically he is very calm and polite, those who get to know Seregon get to see his more vulnerable side. He's playful and mischievous and loves a good joke or prank.

    Magic Origin: Nature
