Out of the Waters and into the Sky

Cloud
The once serene sky grows a sombre mood,
And pure white clouds swiftly elude,
Setting the stage for the obscure stratus.
Low rumbling thunder beat
Continuous flash of lightning greet
All is to summon a heavy rain.

Remembering your past.
Now at last.
I finally understand.
That I can never can
Change anything.
So instead of trying to cling
To the past
I’ll go and flip the switch.
Now nothing can make me even twitch.
Words, actions, nothing.
I already accepted everything
I ever was and will always be
Nothing.
So do I care anymore?
I don’t know.

It's snowing, it'snowing.
Lots of it is falling.
I do hope we get a snowday.
And that's 100% O'KaY.
Oh shit! I haven't gotten anything done.
Oh shit! I really need get shit done!
And I need to Stahp pro-cra-sti-nating.
I really have got to Stahp digging.
Deep into to this hole I have created.
Now everything has assimilated.
Procrastination is something easy to make,
But it is also something hard to break.

The hugs that you give
Are the best I’ve received
From a stranger I first spoke
To that caring older bloke

A man I’ve spoken in turn
To a friend I’ve come to learn
In the blink of an eye
As the time passes by

A cuddle would be nice
A hug would suffice
From a brother every time
I've come to know as mine

He waves his arms cheerfully
As I watch him give his smile
It’s the most beautiful to me
Though he only shows it for a while

The sound of notes and lullabies
Echoes in the room
As I sing to soothe his cries
One rainy afternoon

The days pass by so quickly
I thought as I held you under the moon
Promise me, my little baby
Please don’t grow up too soon.

I begin my pursuit of happiness
By walking
On the roads of life
And I mark my steps
For the roads I've traveled

Following these roads
Full of obstacles
I walk them
Very slowly
Conquering them one at a time

Even when the road leads the other way
I won't change my path
Only time will tell
If I was right or wrong

Time flies,
soon high noon

Forgot my breakfast

A place I can go when lost
To others a place they must
Where the silly fools gather
Or the innocents wander

Giving entertainment and joy
Others simply here to annoy
As long as you stay, you'll be prey
or a predator in dismay

Either way you'll be corrupted
By all the bullshit they spouted
But then at the end of the day
You'll learn to cope with them and play

Why were you even born?
I never did anything to you,
So why do you hate me?
Every day I spend my life in this god forsaken planet,
I had to face with the way you treated me.

Sun sets and I enter my room,
Tripping and falling with each step I make.
My heart cast in complete gloom.
As I recount the day's mistakes.

Covered with webs, stained with gray,
