.
Wrapped tight in arms in fiercest gale,
anchored strong through wave, rain and hail
so bound as one, to never fail.
Steady and strong, each other's Stone.

and so along life's twisting road
The will to bare each other's load
the proof that in the end was showed,
So fear no more. You're not alone.

So many times we seem to fall
Reach and struggle, yet feel so small
Tossed about in the tempest squall
Pointless fears kill a pleading call

And then we find a little light
A tiny spark to chase the night
A bit of strength to fight the fight
A ounce of joy that sets things right

.
And when at last the valley ends
And when at last we've made amends
And when at last we've cleansed our sins
We grap that light as long lost friends

No longer lost along the way
No longer led by dark thought's sway
No longer in the darkness stay
For light will turn your Night to Day

Damn, she stole it,
She stole it amidst the thick fog.
She stole my heart,
By a single hug.

Yes, that single moment stole my heart,
All in a fell swoop.
That moment keeps on repeating on my mind,
In an never ending infinite loop..

I depended on you
Like you wanted me to do
But when I needed you
You weren't even there.

All I really have is myself
And that sucks
Cause I'm not stronger than my depression
Nor braver than my loneliness.

The feeling when, the balloon
Has popped. The air bursting
Out. My lungs suddenly
Empty.

Where did my passion go?
When did the spark vanish?

All of the air that had been carrying me,
No longer keeps me afloat.

Desperately, I grasp at my dreams,
But it slips between my fingers.
It is just empty air after all,
Never tangible enough to touch,
Was it silly of me to think,
"Maybe I could", in the first place?

Regardless, the balloon has popped.
And the basket of eggs is falling.
I can't bear to watch as they go.
Splat.

I think I just need more practice, well at least my message was there.. Is it that bad?

But no matter what may come
I will walk this path I've chose
and no matter where it leads
what joys or sorrows appear
I will press onward, upward

and so in my heart I'll hold
memories of those passed by
even if our roads never

I will cherish moments spent
brief sparks of Warmth in the Cold.

I begin to ask the weight of the thread

The shock of cold water,
as I plunge my face into this frozen,
reservoir of dihydrogen monoxide.

My lungs let loose and scream,
emptying everything 'til my throat is hoarse.
howl and shriek into this slow-motion world,
the numbing embrace of the water, silencing
reflecting the instrument of my voice,
in the density of this frigid medium.

Nobody else can hear me,
with my neck under the water.
I can shout here shout here scream,
Comforted by this vacuum of a space.

I withdraw my head from the sink,
and blink several times, as the
stinging feeling in my eyes, evaporates

now I am mute.

back to the real world we go.

What was the point in this ambiguous sparring of
Politics, Economy, Law, Language and Religion?
Will this never end? Or
Has it just begun?

“Death to all who sin
And go against our God!” shout
Those who are or think they’re in the
Right. But what do you think?

Is the reason why we do this because of
Our upbringing, or our faith? Or
Is it something else
Entirely?

And the fear grows ever stronger,
As flames are carried by said wind,
Breaking through the barriers,
Both physical and mental.
The light of the flames fills the room,
As well as filling the vessels.

Sound! Noise!
A cacophony of voices grows louder!

But, not in the same tongues
As before,
And with the feeling of
Heated Passion
For the Lord.
For many days these vessels were lost,
But now they are found,
Because of Pentecost.

With green eyes that lust after
“Blood! Blood! Blood!” what
Manner of creature has been
Born from such evil, conniving
And trickery?

I dread to think of what a monstrosity
could do and of what could be done if
controlled by One so Wicked
As a Devil-like man who’s
Perceived as one who loves,
When in reality, has the cruellest
Of intentions.

How is it then, that such a
Tragedy has occurred? Are the
People truly so naive and
Trusting as to allow a Demon,
An invader of the Peace, into
The very haven of the mind,
Turning what should be loved into
A detestable image.

Tears are moving across
The ground, all scarred
And cut and dug out
From life’s struggle to move on.

Gold dust now everywhere
Coating us all in finery
And giving us riches of
Rubies, gold, and jet.

Stars are going out,
Clouding over from the
Rain, the non-stop rain
Until the sun comes out.
That sun that cannot reach us,
That warmth that is lost and gained.
That treasure that cannot be found
Until an ‘X’ marks the spot.
