after the funeral, yang xuan got to know that junhe's mother actually got together with his father before he married yx's mother so his desire to get revenge kinda vanished and he left to enlist in the military.
while junhe became a doctor. they reunited a few years later and only made up after junhe's mother died from cancer and made yang xuan promise to take care of junhe.
after catching up they realized they still loved each other and started living together. and yang xuan took junhe to see his maternal grandparents and they accepted junhe as their grandson (lol). those are the only things i remember because i read mtl and my brain hurt i'm sorryyyy lol
