Forgotten Title I'm looking for a CN raw

So I am looking for a raw in hope that people can translate it to English. I am reading the Viet version but it seems very interesting so hopefully someone can do it.

The story is about a forensic pathologist that got pulled into a tornado, then his soul takes over a dead body of a corpse examiner in Ming dynasty. He then used his specialty skill to investigate and solve many crimes... yea, like detective and so so. It is quite good imo. I can roughly translate the title as something something called marrying concubines quest or whatever.

 

That sounds kinda interesting. I don't think I've read a detective type novel before.

 

I managed to find out the author name: Mộc Dật (沐轶)

He have 3 different novels and they are all involve crime investigation. The crimes aren't simple either imo, some sound pretty dam complicated and sometimes involve superstition of that era like ghosts or shit. The one that I am specifically asking has 700+ chapters. The other 2 is like 550~600 each.

 

Well, turns out Mu Yi has a baidu page, linking to another page for his signed work, Taking Concubine Story (纳妾记) or however you'd translate it.

It was first published on Qidian, though apparently it had a print run from 2008. The first 96 chapters are free to read, and the whole story is 525 chapters.

 

Great, apparently it is what I am looking for. I guess the different chapter # is cause our viet translators took the liberty to do so.
