    When plot doesn't move forward for 100 chapter the novel gets dropped, either temporary or permanently depending upon future chapters

    death march the WN - like the first chapter is such a mess that you cant understand anything and it gives you a backstory but what you expect after the back story is an explanation of the first chapter why some things happened but never and then it went on to being even worse...

    In Gate of Good Fortune (*cough* Gate of Bad Fortune *cough*) when MC gets repeatedly shat on without any progress.
    Or when I was reading God and Devil World and realised I hated reading super dark apocalypse like novels because no matter how epic it gets I come out of it hungover and depressed.
