    First destroy his or her social life.
    Then ruin the relationships between your love and her friends and family. Make anyone who get close to him or her suffer. Make it so no one will hire them for work due to false criminal charges or something. All from the shadows of course.

    After two or three years of this. You show up, and be a benavolent saviour. Tell them you don't care about their past, and that you believe them when they tell you they're falsely accused. Force them to rely on you to the point of Stockholm syndrome, and leave subtle hints that make them want to confess to you.

    Accept their confession with jubilation. Now you own them body and heart.

    Its a good idea
    but parents are very picky when it comes to their sun in-laws
    Most parents want a rich successful boy for their daughter
    Even good looking and from a good family
    you can see this even in novels, anime ,manga or REAL life

    For me it's (if I was doing this for real)
    Step 1: Think about how I feel about the person to confirm my feelings.
    Step 2: Find away to get him/her alone.
    Step 3: Just tell them straight up how I feel and ask her out on a date seeing as I don't like beating around the bush things like this.
    Step 4: Wait for and answer, If yes find something fun to do so that I wouldn't be to stressed to show off, If no, cry alone in a corner.

    (As a joke)
    Step 1: Rape her and say you are now my woman. The end.
