The MC, learning they have huge potential and Talent, instead of embracing it, "seals" it away, afraid of what they would become if they lost themselves in the lust of Power. The MC themselves is not a "coward", rather he recognized that there is a dark nature to him that he does not like, and he fears what he'll become if he gives into it. This leads him to become very passive and unconfrontational barring when he "snaps" and wreaks stuff up. Really can't remember much less. I THINK it wasn't Chinese, as the MC's character is alot different than the typical Chinese MC, though I could be wrong.
That sounds realy interesting but are you trying to remember a novel which you read or are you asking for reccomandations
No, I don't think at least? The Idea is similar, but Hyuk is pretty Aggressive once he decided to fight. that's actually a pretty good way to think of It. It may very well be where they got the idea from.
Ya, its a forgotten title. Though if anyone has any recommendations for something similar, I'm open to those as well.
That's why I am thinking its not, Hyuk once he was "released" was pretty unrestrained. I'm pretty sure that in the one I am looking for, Its a reoccurring theme (I.E MC comes off as a passive coward, gets pushed a little to far, snaps and wreaks faces).
Is it the WN where the guy is supposed to be really strong, and he accidentally killed someone in a fight, then his mom or someone made him promise to not fight again? I can't remember the title of that one though..
"My Wife is a Beautiful CEO" In that "Yang Chen" is afraid of losing his consciousness when he uses his strength and goes berserk.......
I kind of remember something that similiar.. But it's manhwa from korean, i forgot the title. The MC is female gumiho or something (nine tail fox), when fight, she tell her enemy that the one who seal her power is her self.
