Hi. I started reading korean novels here in NU, but recently, I enjoyed reading novels with conspiracies, war or scheming. These are the examples: Dungeon Defense A Step into the Past MY FATHER-IN-LAW IS LU BU I hope you can recommend me some good novels that I haven't read yet. THANK YOU.
The Dark King: it's not completely based around war, conspiracies and scheming, but it does include those aspect. MC wakes up 300 years after what seems like a nuclear war that wipes out most of civilization. He finds that humanity now lives inside a wall city that is mainly under the control of a religious organization; the organization pretty much brainwashed the human entire society living inside the walled city and they hold a monopoly on a lot of things (technology, historical informations, etc.). Release that Witch: a craftsman/engineer somehow transmigrates into the body of an unfavored prince set in a medieval-ish setting. Once again there's a religious organization working to brain wash the populace, trying to make everyone thing that witches are evil (apparently there's also some sort of a secret conflict going on between the church and some sort of a devil/alien race that may or may not have something to do with the witch's powers (translations haven't quite gotten there yet)). Using his advanced knowledge of a multitude of things, the MC builds a bunch of stuff (steam engine, guns, cannon, plumbing, etc.), introduces a bunch of new knowledge (chemistry, etc.), gathers and protects a bunch of witches (and also uses their power to help him do/make things), which causes him to become embroiled with the church.
under your criteria: Otherworldly Evil Monarch Release that Witch The Grandmaster Strategist World of Cultivation The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor
As many have mentioned before, Grandmaster Strategist is the way to go. Nirvana In Fire coming close second. Sadly translations are on pause for now, but you can watch the very well done, completed tv series. World of Cultivation could fit your bill as well.
