Hello, I'm new to translating and would like to try myself at Manowa since I like the series, specialy female protagonist are rare. I did learn japanese for around 4 years, so my jap grammar is mostly ok. My problems are that I don't have understanding of dialects, humor and that english is not my native language. Problems with jap vocabulary and kanji(I really hate these) I solve using rika-kun, Aniki and trans.-aggregator.
I would be really happy to work together.

Should I try to remake it from the start for training?

I will put a comment on his page to see if he agrees.

Dialect is really annoying... Especially obscure dialect, like when a Satsuma dialect suddenly appeared in the story... Or worse, a character speaking Okinawan...
Since not every translator is a native English speaker, it sometimes hard to render the resulting text into a proper English "dialects"...
Well, I always turned every Kansai-ben into Scottish....

You can use several tools below to turn a proper English to a regional dialect (southern, posh, scottish, irish)
