As the title suggests, any recommendations. I haven't read many only Against the Gods, Transcending the Nine Heavens, I Shall Seal the Heavens, Terror Infinity, Release that Witch, and Tales of Demons and Gods. ATG and TDG were good in the beginning, but now its just a story about a ridiculously strong MC. It gets old fast. I am only still reading due to how invested I am with the characters and the story. I would like to read novels Not like ATG (super OP mc is weak, fights someone stronger and wins. Rinse. Repeat.) As for TDG, it's just gone downhill after the first two hundred chapters. TTNH is still great! The releases are just slow. He goes back in time and tries to alter the future (like in TDG); however his actions have consequences. I like how he approaches the problems strategically; however, unlike TDG, he isn't essentially omnipotent and overly powerful. I really love TTNH, ISSTH, TI, and Release that Witch mainly because they are unique and complex. Interesting relationships, complex characters (growth throughout the story) and good writing would be appreciated!
The Grandmaster Strategist. Edit: Orz. A second faster than me. Next time...I won't put punctuation marks!! T.T Gate of Revelation and Ze Tian Ji is good as well. The latter is really slow paced though, so don't read if you want a fast story.
I think you might also like No Game No Life. Though it is different from the ones you are reading (at least the ones I know) but I love the crazy strategies and awesome foresight
Ancient Strengthening Technique, against the god, Martial God Asura, Peerless Martial God, Zhan Long are some of the "strategic, thoughtful stories" where mc think before they act, and always come up with a good plan before killing everyone. The novels where female are peerless beauty and mc have to catch and conquer all. Also, the antagonists are amazing in these novels, step by step they build stepping stones for mc to stroll over them, while they build their own grave so they would have a place to rest forever(best retirement plan).
Woahhhhh I didn't expect so many wonderful recommendations. I've been looking for new novels through the search function for a while now. I'm surprised I never saw most of these before. Ty's will definitely try The Grandmaster Strategist first!
