computer science languages

    unfortunately i'm an iphone scrub currently, but currently i think ill just look at the algorithms course on khan academy because i figure it cant hurt to understand the algorithms i will probably use.

    Yes, being good at algorithms is a clear advantage. By the way, it doesn't matter. Cordova can also be used to make apps for iOS. And so is Xamarin (which is C#). So I'd still suggest those things I said above. That said though, if you really want to switch to C# from Java, you'll have it easy. They're practically twins, just with minor differences here and there.

    Learn C. Trust me. It's a core language for computer science. A lil' bit of python wouldn't hurt either.
    What I would really recommend is learning "algorithms". Learn the basics of any language and then try coding different things. Try out challenges in websites like Hackerrank, etc...

    Everyone should know TI-BASIC. It's easier than Scratch, but funner (more fun, funner used to show how fun it is).
