Smooth Che seems to be good with the ladies. Is this the best part about against the gods? I am at chapter 2 and am already speculating, will the mc in this novel fight the gods too? I think he might not be overwhelming as Li Qiye of course, because that's just the theme of another novel, so what are the special points that I should pay attention to when reading atg? Anything besides the flirting of mc with the ladies~?

 

Yes he is. To tell you the truth all gravity mars novel have a HUGE harem, a REALLY HUGE harém. And he will fight against Gods too, but you are in the early stage yet, so keep calm and stay reading.

 

The best part of ATG is while YunChe is OP AF.
At least he using his brain before solving everything (*almost*) with brute force

 

Watch him be hypocritical about everything and be condescending and manipulative after he can cultivate

 

To answer your question, I think the best part is the action and watching him get more powerful, especially with the evil god powers. Mars is a really good author who can write a good story. The gods are extinct before the story starts and Yun Che basically has to clean up the mess

The name was supposed to be something along the lines of against fate or heavens or whatever it was only some odd number of chapters in that they realised that they translated the name wrongly but decided to stick with it...

Well the story in ATG is basically: Slap faces, get beauties, flirt with them, go and 'die' and then come back after a while, save damsels in distress and slap even more faces.

But honestly there's a lot too look forward to in ATG if you've just started reading it. The arc in the Illusory Demon Realm(or whatever it was called) was just too excellent. Smooth Che's slapping faces at its best Lol

I dropped the novel exactly because i was disappointed that what was bringing forward the story was the relationship with various reason.
in the start he was using his brain too but later on ........
the story i believe had great potential, but the author only mentioned yun che medical talent a few times and nothing more, while i think he made a mistake adding

Honestly that brick slapping incident was really wonderful. I wish the author would go back and rediscover the wonderful dao of the brick and the state of becoming one with the brick. I support Yi Yun using a brick instead of a sword.

Well even though he is not that overbearing, he can still be counted very OP. It's kinda like acting to be the pig to eat the tiger(or something like that). Even though his realm is very low, he jumps many realms during his fight. So it's kinda like an ant punching a person to death. You can expect that. You can also find the irritating crowd who keeps on going that he's too weak and underestimate him and after YC beats up his opponent easily, they'll become dumbfounded. There's a lot of that in this novel.

 

At that point in the series, yes.However the real good comes later. With Yun Che's "Brothers". ASwell as currently there is a enemy that is developing to be more than just a enemy. it gets really good about the 600+

 

The author conveniently forgot about that as well ;-;
I want to see him using the saber but I think sword is going to be his main focus for a long while.
