Well you know most of them are really Gay or something have you seen the phrase
"You're Courting Death" and as what we know death is usually personified as a man

 

you write a story, you don´t know anyone who is gay
--> the MC can´t be gay cause you don´t know whether there is something you should watch out for if he is gay

The majority of people want to read about a male mc and the girl he falls for~ so the writers write about that

One of the main antagonists in DWGFF is gay and a few other characters are. A bunch of cut sleeves.

 

Sex in novel about cultivation usually was because there was an extreme situation of excesive yin or yang. And to balance it they usually use medicine pill or just need to calm it down by having sex.
If a man has an excesive yang then he need woman to calm it down. And if woman has an excesive yin then she need a man
If a man has an excesive yang then he has sex with yang source, he would die from yang explosion (maybe)
So balance of yin and yang was an absolute rule of cultivation
May be that was the cause of why there was no gay novel about cultivation

Duh, well, biologically, homosexuality is deviation from norm (genetic, psychological etc). And MCs that constantly improve and perfect their bodies (and most likely, DNA), train their minds etc should then be following the "nature's way".

 

Yin-Yang is a total bullshit. Nothing really stops people from changing already purely fuctional system. As nothing stops them from writing fiction in the first place.

 

Those type of plots are boring! I don't mind them sometimes but I hate it when the girls cant just confess already and being a hard to get type and i also hate those male mc who cant stay still in a one relationship and chases everything that wears skirt. THATS ALL

Well, China looks down of homosexuality. Thus, if anyone reads Homosexual mc stories they will probably be looked down upon. Furthermore, we have hetero men and then we have gay men. Hetero men are the majority by much, so no reason to write no stories which wil not sell. Forget about women audiance in this case since cultivation novels are considered men novels in china.

Asia has a very gray perception in homosexuality, most asian countries do, people might say they accept gay people in most cases but they mean that as long as gay people don't pester their structure of what their norms should be, they be cool but they'd be also easily angered if homosexuality is portrayed prevalently in media. hence lesser diversity in literature, Western lit. doesn't have that many gay mcs too yknow
