I believe so, but it happens after most of the mess is fixed. LTX gives her a Spoiler gun. It's apparently one of the best (and safest!) ones in the market.
LTX also Spoiler prepares a diamond ring for her, but hesitates to give it since they're still veeeeery early (like, less than a month) in their acquaintances. He was jealous of Little Treasure and think that a man really should give jewelry as gifts, but then decided against it and gave her the gun only. A few tenths chapters later NX got the birthday present from YS. It's diamond glitters made from real diamonds! And NX told LTX never do this kind of thing if he wants to chase a girl because it's scary instead of romantic, and LTX was very glad he didn't give any diamond to NX lol @Leilacus Ning Xi is a half-baked practitioner. IIRC she wasn't really involved in the YS group except when YS told her to participate in, and her specialty is guns so she probs mostly do her job behind the scenes like sniping or such unlike direct assassination. Plus NX's nature is very carefree and careless, that's why she gets caught easily. It's also a kind of blessing in disguise sometimes. Her weak appearance makes people underestimate her and they don't know what kind of devil they've actually pulled until it's too late...
Meng Shiyi is a newly introduced character after Ning Xi's success in her new movie. She is from Orange Entertainment, and was cast as the heroine in NX's new serial tv-drama. People said her acting is very good and she won quite a lot of awards for her acting, and she also has a hard mysterious background backing her up. MSY was very prideful and looks down on NX because she becomes popular because of her face, then becomes jealous of NX because YS only pays attention to NX and didn't care about her. YS says he doesn't know her tho.
The newest kidnapping? Yeah. Seems like MSY's dad is an underground mafia. The thugs kidnapping NX are his subordinates from branch group.
On a side note, does people realize that although LJL is very silly, he's not stupid? I mean, he's the freaking Lu's Group Vice President, managed Golden Age alone (LTX back him up but he doesn't get involved at all) until the company becomes famous, and has a wide-range of information network at his disposal (for gossip, but still useful). LJL looked like he's weak and cannot fight, but if he can survive being beaten by his big bro on a daily basis I can hardly call him weak. That means LJL is very capable. That's why even if he's silly and prone to make trouble, no one will try to offend him because even without LTX as his backing, LJL himself can destroy people if he wants to. He's just overshadowed by LTX's light. ...Continue be your sunny boy and have a date with your veggies, Lu Jingli. Don't get to the dark side, like, forever.
That's so true and I definitely feel like LGL's personality is best suited for his circumstances, because it must have been tough growing up with a genius brother like LTX. Still though I love the brothers' dynamic, as they both support each other (unlike brothers like NX's father & uncle or those from other novels who seem to be clambering to best the other, cheat the other out of inheritance, etc.). If he does eventually fall in love, I hope he is never betrayed and that his love interest loves and supports him (and helps him take care of his veggies too!).
LJL grows vegetables on his backyard. He treats them like his own children, personally watered and fertilized them, even putting a high-tech alarm to protect the veggies from being stolen. He gets really angry if anyone try to steal his veggies, and will fight you for them. Only NX can freely take his veggies without needing permission (as long as he was invited to eat too), because apparently his veggies are fated to be NX's cooking ingredients
Believe it or not, Ning Xi is a good housewife. She can cook (LJL said it's comparable to 5 stars chef) and sew (last time she made a heart-shaped bag I think for Anne). NX said if not Su Yan dumped her, her dream is to be a housewife.
