Latest chapter was awesome as usual. Is anyone else bothered by the title? I really want them to change it to soaring through the heavens, or soaring to the heavens, just Soaring the Heavens is triggering what little OCD I have.
Nah, it's fine because the meaning is there, soaring - fly or rise high in the air. so that 'through' was pretty pointless... as for your other title 'to the' I dont think there would be any flying to the heavens in the novel - well who knows but I think soaring the Heavens is pretty good, as I don't know any Chinese and am only an English reader, the titles that tl's choose usually work for me... As long as the translation quality is there I am happy. @kelaude any input from you as the tl on the title?
Well, we actually had a lot of debate on the title internally. I wanted something short and to the point without unnecessary words so that it won't be a mouthful. As the title was already quite vague, I went with Soaring the Heavens. Soaring through the Heavens sounds like a mouthful. Also, I have consulted with multiple editors who are proficient in English that Soaring the Heavens conveys the meaning quite well so it isn't necessary to add 'through' or 'to the'. Well, it was either that or Soaring Skies....which is a direct tl and I didn't like how normal it sounded. :x
2 cute girls bathing him and he clings to his di*k...If that's such a fun bath toy, let them play with it.
That's the kind of thing I hate about Xianxia cultivation - characters sitting around on their ass doing absolutely nothing ("cultivating"). "Experiencing the world" that he is trying to make the Mantices eggs do would be a lot more interesting!
those little bastards would be absolutely terrifying... small, vicious, deadly, hungry, and swarming inside his clothes. i can barely handle normal ants, bees, and the like buzzing/crawlin around on me, and those things aren't all that bad (well, bees/wasps can be pretty dangerous), but these mantises... *shudder*
I think this is the first time I've read about a MC who rears bug beasts from the very beginning of his cultivation, opposed to killing some enemy and getting a treasure which houses a world-full of bug beasts instead. I'm curious as to how much extra effort he'll need to go through raising these little guys until they can fight cultivators without being insta-slaughtered.
I think the real problem is finding them adequate food without stunting their growth and trying to keep them from eating people.
There are kind of two times kind of, first there was time where the girl and Mc liked each other and was forced marry someone and because he wasn't strong enough and second was the little sister was forced to marry someone I think that's it.
This senior is too much. And his handmaids are too stupid to actually collaborate with him to swindle their master...
Was it too bad? Like, did the author shove it in our faces? EDIT: From what i got in my search it is pretty bad. So a drop it is. NTR is a NG. http://forum.wuxiaworld.com/discussion/6744/soaring-the-heavens-飞天
Yeah its pretty bad, though the girls didn't want too, so they didn't betray him if it makes it any better.
