well a few of those points are similar, yeah, but we know nothing about QL's race. Or rather, family? Although we dont know much about the race either, just that he was part of some larger continent and the demons pissed off one of the higher ups. We dont know much about his past, at least in the currently translated chapters. Still, i find them a lot alike too now that you mention it...

After resting for awhile and then binge reading this again. I couldn’t help but conclude that Qin Lie is nothing but a reckless No Brainer, Jinx and a embodiement of Bad Luck. Nothing LITERALLY goes according to his plan. And those who always screwed it were always those so called “friend” of his (Song Tingyu, Ling Yushi etc..) and every single time he reach the end of the road someone always appear to save him or sometime he just miraculousy survive..i sometimes think that author merely wrote this novel for fun *sigh* Can't understand how the author of GDK (Han shou), GOS (Shi Yan) and KMD (Nie Tian) gave birth to this Qin Lie abnormality.. his existance tragedy lvl feels like 1/4 of the word NTR

Though this side characters were really too frustrating. Sometimes they're good sometimes their not.. and everytime they get in a pinch (which were always cause by them). author always find a way to push the blame(Responsibility) to QL . For him tto solve till the end of the day. you will see QL and Side Chars sitting on chairs sipping tea like nothing ever happen Ex. The current arc, when ling yushi was cultivating the evil art.. song tianyu saw the gathered nether energy.. she drag her alliance elder.. then when she notice her mistake. Qin Lie already took the blunt. When they met again ST didnt even bother to apologize. As if the problem was none of her concern and it was only natural and evwn with all that stupid mc will just smile.. gaah frustrating

I kind of doubt it. Not only is it being hinted at in the teasers, if you think about it, there's most definitely going to be some betrayals going on. First and foremost from the Nie family, who seemingly have beef with Qin Lie. Not to mention how they've all readily depicted and accepted Qin Lie as part of the evil race's faction. Finally, if Song Tingyu is really going to end up following Qin Lie, she's going to need a reason to do so, and a betrayal would fit the bill.
