Simple, more people find it more sinful, disgusting, unrefined than killing people. People are so repulse by lust, and yet we keep on making things that makes it more appealing: beauty, drugs, sexiness, scantily clad dresses, suggestive music videos, and many more. Like how the "f***" word is being censored depending on context; if it is sexual then it's a big no no.

This just my opinion, Video games are meant to be entertainment available to all ages.(maybe since 90) But when nudity stuff involved into something that available to all ages, such a measure is needed d and that measure is censorship
Its definitely the religion. If it would harm the actual gameplay, optional availability would be a solution. But its banned (or at least at a level, where creators of game voluntarily wont add it) in the (former) commonwealth-countries, thus its probably the religion, as only a religious tabu could have such a big impact.
Spoiler: Funny Story (XXX) Years back I downloaded an adult mod for Skyrim, it was crap, but what do you expect whose going to take pride in that kind of thing. Anyway I was playing a new game, doing the dungeon where you learn your first shout. About halfway through you have to kill a giant spider, and free a bandit who has a key to the last part of the dungeon. The bandit dude runs off the second you free him, but there is no need to chase him because he will either be killed by draugr, or die on a trap. So I take my time, following after him, not at all concerned. When I turn the corner into the area with the draugr I see him at the end the room next to the swinging-spike-wall trap. One of the draugr has him in a full nelson, and is going to town on the poor elf. This goes on for a few minutes until the draugr finally finishes and just drops the bastard on the ground. Only thing is he drops him on top of the button that activates the trap. It swings around instantly kills both of them. It was hands down the funniest thing that has ever happened to me while I was playing Skyrim.
Well, it does add to the whole it makes it feel wrong so it's better, at some point nudity becomes so boring that people go full on with fetishes or even CFNM is more exciting than nudity lol.
I could see a variety of factors... Society, religion and culture often think sex should not be discussed in public, and therefore it is bad for it shown in a game. Pornography typically has been reserved for adults; death of all sorts is frequently shown in even movies from the past. People have become used to certain (strange norms). Killing digitial people in most views is not evil. However, even digitial boobs will always be boobs. Nearly everyone has sexual urges, while very few people have murderous urges. In a way it could be shown that get rid of aggression in a digital form is healthy, while getting rid of sexual urges through real world relationships is deemed healthy.
...? More women appear nude in games and anime and movies and other media than men. Why bring the feminists into this? Yes, feminists do advocate that it is not right to use the female image as something to be used and then discarded, but censorship in games has nothing to do with this, I believe. As @Kemm said, it's the gonads what has to be censored mainly, so since they are external in males, they censor their "fruit basket." Meanwhile, breats are not gonads, so they are not censored that often, and since the gonads are internal in women then usually as long as the girl is not having intercourse or not too many details of the more privates parts are shown/drawn, then the girl can be naked. If game developers want to censor their stuff, don't blame it on feminists. I think it may be a bad attempt at making the game more interesting by showing some fanservice but without hurting anyone's feelings and not making it r18. Or an attempt to make the game note realistic, still without raising the rating. Or both. If they were trying to respect women, maybe they shouldn't show nude women in the first place...?
Yeah the thing is taboos rarely if ever have any connection to rationality or consistency. Another good example is that in the U.S. being 18 means you are mature and adult enough to make the decision to kill and or die for your country but you had better not even think about touching a cigarette. So yeah so if you got a game about murdering the crap out of your enemies just make sure there is no blood and gore you might even get a E for everyone, little bit of gore but still no blood ? I think its a question of why do kids need to be protected from nudity in media so much more than things like violent mass murder in media. Also to be clear no men are not just walking boners with thumbs and are entirely capable of playing a game with nudity in it.
A lot of reasons but the USA sees nudity worse than murder in real life. Other shit like fucking PETA got the kangaroo censored overseas. It's probably some other agenda too lately they want to censor a lot of Japanese games and west games does worse shit. I know Japanese can be perverted a lot but some shit now they censoring just for the sake of it.
