He was stabbed but then MC took out the sword and ML managed to steady himself after that. He still had hope that MC wouldn't push him away even after he got stabbed but when he was pushed/slapped off into the abyss, MC described how he'll never forget the look in ML's eyes that were devoid of hope?? Not too sure;;

I feel like, if ML was slapped off, then that might've felt a tad more painful than just being pushed off ( ˃̣̣̥o˂̣̣̥ )

btw do we know why the original ML led the original mc to that cliff?

Persevere scriptor! also, since u kind of rely on pinyin, do u want to try mdbg.net? It gives the pinyin as well as the definitions of the character side by side n it auto translates idioms instead of placing them apart although in some cases, the site does translate a few characters together when they should be separate.

 

origMC hated origML's guts bc he was a prodigy who started cultivating at the right time while on the other hand, origMC was also a prodigy but he missed the optimal age to start cultivating n as such is stuck at his current cultivation lvl n unlikely to improve. Due to the reasons behind why he couldnt start cultivating early on, origMC is REALLY sensitive about his cultivation lvl n prior to receiving origML as a disciple, he took in several other disciples who seemed like prodigies n permanently crippled their cultivation. At the ravine scene, origMC had found out beforehand that origML was somehow related to the devils n so, he used it as a good excuse to outright get rid of origML since all his previous attempts to ruin him had failed so might as well kill him n be rid of an eyesore.

I know rite? Never knew how difficult translating was until I actually did it myself I usually read thru an entire sentence before i translate n restructure it in eng. Otherwise, the words after a comma wont flow well with the words b4 the comma n there are a lot of commas in an cn novel sentence . The thing i hated most tho was the slang or ancient terminology. Its why i gave up on reading the raws of cn novels set in ancient times or sci fi ones or those related to gaming cry: had to give up on reading ahead of the eng trans of kings avatar)
