Question Tempest of the Stellar War: So is it early or slow romance?

I was looking through my waiting list to find my next novel, and I picked up Tempest of the Stellar War, mostly because of the "Protag loyal to love interest" and "Mecha" tags, but I saw something that confused me.
Its tagged both "Slow Romance" and "Early Romance" which seems kind of contradictory. Is this just a mistagging? If so, which is it really?

 

Not entirely sure about this, but my interpretation of those tags is that the main couple gets into a romantic relationship early, which then develops slowly over the course of the novel. Make sense? I don't know. I don't read it.

You're actually right. Main heroine introduced quite early, though they already acknowleged their feeling to each other but their romance actually slow and steady (that means no crazy wild s*x right off the bat, so far they're still mostly kissing stage)

 

The MC and his waifu meet early on but so far their time together is short because pf their status in society.

 

Like Hajime no Ippo, where the main romantic interest is introduced right at the beginning, but 1000 chapters in they've only gone as far as holding hands... Something like that?

Early romance maybe because the heroine was introduced very early and they got interested in each other right away. Slow maybe its because the development span throughout the novel? I think they only got married at the end of the novel.

Wait, so is it like Rebirth of the Thief Who Roamed The World where they are introduced early and then disappears for 300 chapters, or more like Lord Xue Ying or Release that Witch where they are "there", but they just take it slow?

 

iirc they dated for a while and kiss etc but didn't slept together yet (up to the translated chapters)

 

At least up to the current translations, she isn't central to the plot, but is definitely not "forgotten". Recently she is accompanying the MC but that will most likely change in the future due to their difference in status.
Early Romance: Essentially love at first sight.
Slow Romance: Status difference creates barriers MC will have to overcome.
I would recommend TSW. Slow releases, but it's one of my top favorite novels.

 

Don't forget she used her wish for her 18th birthday, which is why she can accompany the MC, She will probably disappear temporarily eventually. Least from my guess.

 

So its like Rebirth of the Thief? that sucks.

 

Why are you using RT as an example btw? To my knowledge, Rebirth of the Thief (up to the current translations) doesn't really have any romance other than bromance. The girls were introduced as past life acquaintances/partners, but there hasn't been any inkling of romance during his new life. At least I haven't seen any.

 

Well, she is still there up to the translated chapters, the MC may find a way to get back to her. If my guess of her disappearing is true later on.

because he does eventually, that's what I am asking. Is this something like they are around each other, but simply cant be together, or is it like in Rebirth, where she'll disappear for long stretch of time.

 

Her family doesn't know she used her wish for that purpose(to be with the MC), if they did the wish probably wouldn't have been allowed.

 

That does not really answer the question....

 

There is just under 70 chapters translated out of the 1389 total chapters, unless you read the raws you won't know that answer.

 

What about up until now, though.
