The last few days I have been noticing unexplained injuries on my body, cuts and scars, that have no reason to be there (I'm a shut in). Today, when I woke I noticed a claw mark on my side, again without explanation. My hypothesis? There is a dream realm I (and possibly others) go to where we fight, possibly humans, definitely some monsters judging by my claw mark. Obviously, the injuries received there only barely affect our real bodies, which explains why my wounds, though numerous, are minor. Also, my memories are apparently wiped every night, as I have no recollection of this happening during the day. Does anyone else have unexplained injuries? Does anyone have a better explanation? Does anyone know something concrete?
Have you checked for bugs or maybe you scratch yourself when you sleep. I have a lot of scars cause I'll excessively scratch myself and pick at the injuries
What we think as inexplicable injuries are usually injuries that we acquired without us noticing them hmm perhaps you're moving a lot while you're sleeping? And you might also scratch them yourself? And check for bugs/ants/cockroach and other too
Well i have four enormous scar on my back and i just woke up one morning and saw them they look a bit like if a bear clawed my back But hey its probably like hypnosis
actually the dream realm theory is partially plausible. It has been scientifically proven that some people's bodies are sensitive to the subconscious, and produce bruising and wounds. This is also used to explain some stigmata phenomena. But as a fan of sci-fi your idea of a dream battlefield sounds awesome.
You're beginning to lose yourself in the realms of fictions and reality. Lay off the novels for a while....
1. bed bugs 2. mosquitoes 3. allergy to fabric or detergent 4. adverse reaction to an ingredient in your food, your medication/vitamins if taking any or the air you breath causing chemical imbalance within your body 5. stress related sleeping disorder 6. monster under your bed Sleep well.
