Love the novel... His stupidity and the way he looks at the world is cute. But I'm getting annoyed I guess... Will he ever smarten up? Edit: I mean the Princess doesn't seem to be manipulated at all and is just stupid... but she's an older princess. Serious hoping for more characters that don't act on impulse and don't think.
He did risk his life trying to protect her, and I guess he broke his shield trying to defend the Three Lords as well (like that matters right now).
Man, Vargas... Dude is a champ and it's surprising that he's getting his girl. But we're not even halfway into the story. Is anyone else feeling like the story is ending? Besides the whole War part of the game, it seems like the school part is ending. It's sad that Aleist hasn't mentioned anything to the 3 lords about a possible war. Not sure if it'll effect them, but getting them on his side might help.
According to A-list, i refuse to spell that correctly, the war marks the end of the fluffy harem building school arc, and the start of the action packed war simulation portion of the game. It sounded like there would be some simplified troop management elements and strategy involved, so it's like the start of a different game. Makes sense that it has to "end" before you start something new.
when will the author explain about the black mist that got into lilim and cattleya? I'm more curious about that rather than the stupid princess and the pig headed fritz.
My guess is that that was the 'will of the original rudel' since the world already supposedly accepted the master petter Rudel.

Novel page says; 167 WN Chapters (Complete). So 83.5 chapters would be the halfway point. So we're basically little over halfway to the halfway point. Haha. Unless a number of them are extra. But they're still considered chapters, I'd say.
The point is that when the war starts, either Rudel or Chlust are supposed to die, to usher in the new era, but I'm guessing something happens now that Mies was caught or chased all the way home by an angry Cattleya.
