    I swear! If RTW is stopped or another TL has to pick it up,then I am gonna boycott everything Qidian. Including WW. Fan translators are also fans in the end,and tere will not be a single successful thing out there if there is no fan out there.

    don't mind grammar~ hmm it have something to do with my mother language~
    reading experience~ I mean if you have read many book you can guess the overall chapter direction~
    oh well mostly it have to do with my work experience that need to search crucial point of a problem from two side who like to blabbering nonsense~ also GT have improved a lot from upgrade~ not as painful as let see 2010 era~

    The above comment about aggregators and pirates are right. We're going to enter a dark age where everyone has to illegally access their novels. No more free land of NU. Hope WW lasts as long as they can so QI can comprehend there is an easier way in this business.

    thats a bad attitude to have right now !!! :mad:
    if we boycott them as a community they wont be getting as many views as expected and this will discourage them from using paywalls as they'll need to take our opinions into account.The donation system works much better for us as our Lecher: Donater ratio isn't high since in the West the market for these novels is smaller.
    Soon they'll realize that unlike in china they will have to give way and negotiate with the translators rather than bullying them. The great translators and conversations we have on their sites are the real reason we donate. Its hard to even feel connected to the translators on the new QI site and i can't help but feel we'll lose something vital from this community if we passively allow a QI monopoly on chinese novel translations.
    Protect our Translators !
    Fight QI !!

    I just called my local Chinese embassy to complain about QI bad business practices that are giving Chinese businesses a bad name and harming the proliferation of Chinese culture via webnovels.
    i wonder if this will have any effect or if they will ignore it...

    They'll manage. A few yeara back they sued anyone who posted their novels somewhere else.

    You know what it is tho right? at this point, Qidian International only exists to suck us, as the foreign market, dry.... keep all the profits to themselves, rather than have a more grassroots fan - based community. it's no longer about the books and what they stand for... :cautious:

    If after this war is done, and ww lost, then it's probably the signal to start burning Qidian name off the list for getting CN novels to translate. Even if Qidian is the top website in China, there are still Many Other websites with their CN novels that are at least or the same or even better than Qidian novels. Like 17k, zongheng, Zhulang, etc....
