    probably it takes longer to cultivate or need to have balance between the Gu.

    Well it was mentioned that the Gu should fit the rank of the master, so - refining is a bitch and you need to find equal level gu, yeah quality over quantity eh? :eek:

    I love the fact that the translator is very interactive with the readers on the forum page. Keep up the good work and make sure you don't run out of steam! So many amazing novels lost/forgotten due to hiatus. I highly hope that I will still be here reading this novel in the future :D

    I super love discussion about RI! (y)
    It also makes me happy to see comments on the story and stuff ;) though the novel is still picking up in here so I go to chinese forums to discuss about RI atm..

    I'm guessing in the previous timeline the little brother was the stereotypical trash-to-genius "piety & loyalty to sect" xianxia MC easily manipulated by authority figures like the aunt and uncle. And our MC lived the life of the genius-to-trash "evil older bother" of the "poor righteous hero"

    Oh so Gu masters are the firearms and Gu are the ammo at least for the MC's village. So the Xiong village should use their Gu like Power Armour for close combat and the Bai Village use theirs like water cannons?

    Hmmm, well you could say that?
    Gu have all kinds of uses, not just for offence.

    There is a saying - There are no all-powerful Gu, only all-skilled Gu Masters

    While each village usually has a 'trait' like the Moonlight Gu of the Gu Yue clan, and the Xiong Village is pretty -strengthy- type etc, I guess..
